You're right they have but the problem is they've always backed Ten Hag which isn't necessarily a good thing.

Obviously I wasn’t best pleased with the Werner loan because I thought it meant only one forward but I have to hold my hands up because we spent 65m on Solanke and 30m on Odobert.
I get complaints but at least be honest about your complaints and don’t move the goal posts randomly later on to fit your agenda.

If we signed Chiesa, it'd been cheap option. Liverpool sign him and it's opportunistic.
Even with Man Utd signing Ugarte,it's a great signing but if we did, it'd probably be spinned as signing a PSG reject who couldn't even hack it in France by some people
