I hate to say it but I’d probably choose the Aberdeen game.

ENIC would love to read this. Are fans genuinely content if we make half an effort in only one trophy maybe perhaps?! We have the most expensive STs and the biggest match day income possibly in the whole of Europe… I would like to think that, for that, we should be expecting to both beat Palace in the league and then going all out to try and beat City too. If two matches of kicky ball is too much for a Professional footballer, then what the fuck are we bothering with the whole TC operation, facilities, coaches, physios, sports scientists etc. God we’re a joke. Basically funding the most expensive David Lloyd gym and spa for the untouchables. Fuck the lot of them.
 
Has to be the strongest team possible. If you are going to rest players do it against Villa at the weekend.

Learn the lessons from Fulham last year, this cup is MASSIVE for our fans and getting a monkey off our collective backs.

Play our strongest 11, hope Pepe sacks it off and we should win with a decent atmosphere and a prevailing win, IF and this is the big IF the players fancy turning up.

Seeing as they seem to be able to pick and choose when they turn in a shift that's will be the deciding factor.

But Ange has to at least lay the table in the right way.

Lose this with a weakened team and for me he has to go
 
Pep says he’s going to go second string here. Said the same before the last round and played Walker, Stones, Grealish, Doku Nunes and Foden from the start. Could make an argument that some of these are “second string”, but still strong.

However, a great chance for us to progress if he does play a weaker side.

Man City's 2nd string are better than Crystal Palace's first team, so let's not kid ourselves...

Whoever they put out (or rest) we need to take it seriously.

The League Cup and Europa League should be our priorities this season... The League will take care of itself. Just keep it respectable!

Win one, or both, and I think MOST will be happy!
 
Need to take this game seriously as we're going to do fuck all in the league this season.

I want to see pretty much the full side out there (barring a few changes). No fucking Forster for a start!

I take trophies where we find them. Yes, I would have liked us to push on for the UEFA Cup when we won the Carling Cup in 2008 and for the FA Cup when we won the Worthington Cup in 1999 but they didn't happen. We can either find joy in the special moments that come our way or be miserable all the time.

At the moment, I'm still hopeful for a Carabao Cup, FA Cup and Europa League Treble. Why not? We're still in all three.

The only thing I would add here is that we should include the FA Cup in our priorities. We shouldn't write off our chances because we haven't won it for 33 years. If United can do it, so can we.

Absolutely, but we don't have a clue who we're gonna play in that yet, so there's little point planning for it...

At least the Europa & League Cup opposition are mapped out somewhat!

Yeah honestly I couldn't give a shit about the league at this point. Getting in the CL isn't the excitement it once was and the extra money never increases our spending.

Rather we go all out for a cup!
