If we just manage to stay within touching distance of Forest, I really think there's a big chance they may slip up in April-May time meaning we can pip them to 9th. Would be foolish to even think about making a change until that's mathematically impossible in my opinion.
Nah. Any decent manager can get their team defending the box properly, even with the most mediocre defenders.
If you gave Sean Dyche our back 4, he would stop them conceding these stupid goals very quickly.

City are on their knee's a the moment. Struggling without Rodri, KDB is getting old, loads of other starting 11 players injured. We could go there and win and all that does is give the Angebois something to clap about, and prolong the inevitable.
Seriously, they'll make a claim he's world class if he beats a depleted City, but at the same time, dismiss that astonishingly bad performance vs Gala last week because we made changes.

Levy has to decide whether to back this one, or buy toys for the next one to try to get our season back on track.
We're not getting relegated, but bottom half is not acceptable. So much so, Levy will pull the trigger to try to stop it happening.
You make lots of valid points and yes, for sure Ange is way out of his depth at this club and in this league.
But...
Even a trio of Pep + Klopp + Ancelotti couldn't get a banging tune out of Vicario, Dragusin, Udogie, Porro, Brennan...or our supposedly world class talents like Romero and Madders. Yeah, they might make them marginally better and as a unit we may play better and get more W on the board, but it wouldn't last long. At the end of the day they ain't magicians, they ain't gonna turn rusty nails into shiny gold bars. Those players are just not skilled enough but, more importantly, they just don't have what it takes in brains, heart and guts to be serious contenders. There's a reason they're at Spurs and not at a proper winning club.
So sacking the manager? Hell yeah. But apply the same treatment to all those on that roster who are openly stealing a living...and there's quite the list. Weird cause apparently it was all because of Dier, Skipp, Hojbjerg?!
But that gonna change anything, are we suddenly gonna challenge under yet another manager and with different players? Nope. First, we got Ange in cause nobody elite wanted the gig. And find me a truly WC player who'd wanna come to Tottenham...remember Mbappé's reaction? Yeah.
You really wanna make a difference? It's not Ange, it's not the players. We all know who that one person is who's been harming this wonderful club of ours ever since he first set foot in N17. We all know who the absolute No 1 culprit is. Who's made shocking mistake after shocking mistake, who hasn't got a clue how to operate a top 4-6 PL football club. This club has a cancer at its core and his name is DANIEL FUCKING LEVY. Our club will never ever do anything as long as that utter disgrace is in the building. He might strike gold again like he did with Poch, he sure hoped he had with Ange, but that's literally his only "strategy", which is a damning indictment of our inept he is...and shows how critical it is that he gets as far away from Tottenham Hotspur, as early as possible...and for good.
I keep seeing that scroll for Catfish and the Bottlemen during games. I don't see Levy springing for Taylor Swift. He would make a ridiculously low offer, get rejected, and then bring in A Flock of Seagulls.
If Levy has any doubts about Ange at all then he will sign no players in January. I'm sorry to break it to you but he ain't pulling any trigger before christmas. You better hope that we lose nearly all our games between now and then for that to become a possiblility.
I'll keep cheering for the team and hope it doesn't get to that stage.
I mean, imagine how a call between Levy and Xabi Alonso would go. Or Zidane. Or any other serious manager not just interested in a fat paycheck.

If that were to happen Postecoglou could still get through it, but he has to be careful now because (to your point) these losses are eroding the good will he has built up. It would help if, after losses, he talked in football terms about what went wrong. Instead he talks philosophy and attitude. Showing that he understands what went wrong on the field and talking about how it is fixable would help. I'm afraid he eventually will lose his composure with an interviewer and that could put him in a bad position. With managers that's often when the blood gets in the water and the media sharks start circling.I still think he can make adjustments and continue some of the positive things he's done. Whether he can move past this "No Plan B" idea is the question.
Heres a list of managers Levy has sacked before Christmas in previous seasons. Hoddle, Santini, Jol, Ramos, AVB, Poch, Nuno. It happens a lot and most were having similar or better seasons than the one we're currently having.
Some people will do anything to avoid paying for a Christmas card.
Looking back we were 11 points off 4th. But only 3 points off 5th. Despite being 14th.
This season we are likely to be closer to 3rd but 6 points from 5th if we lose to City.

None of the teams from 5th spot down had won more than 4 games out of 12 in 2019.

It is incredibly inconsistent though.
We are not the only inconsistent team, while we do keep having these shit results / performances, we are still just 3 points from 3rd, and we are also capable of the sort of performances like Spam, City and Villa.
If we didn't even have those, I would be more impatient.
Until all hope is removed and we are playing shit every game, I want to believe in this manager, as difficult as he makes it sometimes
Also under Levy there is no hope for any manager. Might as well let Ange's reign run its course and maybe against all odds he actually does win something. He is our manager for now, we should try to enjoy it.... there is ZERO guarantee that the next one will be better... it can always get worse. Once that new bounce euphoria wears off, they are all just a few losses away from being turned on anyway.
Levy appointed a 57yo manager who had no prior elite league experience, who usually stays at a club 2 or 3 years at most, whose system had clear question marks over it from the off for anybody who knows football even a little. I mean, even his personality - behind the Mr Nice Guy act now crumbling fast - would/should've raised a few flags had they done their due diligence, something we know they do not...Ndombele, Lo Celso, Richarlison anyone?
And people are surprised it's backfired?! Wow.
I mean, sackable offense if I ever seen one. But not like it's the first of that cancer Levy's tenure...and sadly/worryingly for Spurs, not the last.

Since the 2010's he's sacked AVB, Poch & Nono before Xmas. There was no reason to sack Conte or Mourinho then as we were going well. Redknapp was a closed season sacking when he finished 4th.
I'd say there's every chance that without a dramatic change in form, he's a dead man walking already,
Nuno and Ramos were the only managers I ever turned on. Apart from that I've always backed the managers. Even though it got nasty under Villas Boas, Mourinho and Conte, I still hoped they would turn it around right until the end. Martin Jol was probably my favourite manager and we were very fickle under him too. Redknapp and Poch had the best teams and I enjoyed them season the most.
Ironically, Juande Ramos was the only manager I ever saw win something with us and even that was a very forgetful season. We won a cup but finished 11th in the league on 46 points. He then had us on 2 points after 8 games the following season, and for a while we were favourites for relegation before Harry took over and completely transformed us. So the only manager that ever won something for Spurs in my lifetime, was a manager who I wanted gone and he was sacked within 12 months
