Does many things well but top notch goalscorer he isn't. I did say all this whilst the Happy Claplpy brigade were slapping their hands together in the summer.

Another striker is needed to add to but not replace him in the squad.

Richarlison is probably more likely to score us goals, but like so many Spurs players, he is as brittle as fcuk.

Richarlson even when fit is not fit to lace his boots - he might score more goals (debatable) but it’s a no brainer regardless

Sure... I remember you saying bollocks like he won't add anything, isn't aggressive and shit at linking play.

Richarlison can't stay fit, I guarantee you Solanke is playing with knocks every week but just gets on with it, has an excellent mentality..... something you also said he don't have.

You read what I wrote? I am not saying Rucharlison is better. I am saying he would likely score more goals, if he stayed fit. I called for him to go in the summer.

On Solanke all I have said now is that he ain't a top notch goalscorer.

Not sure where the confusion lies.

You stated that he does many things well but I remember you saying he won't add anything.

That's where the confusion lies.

I don't think that's a given but if that was the case he would contribute far less to the team so what's the point?

Out of curiosity I looked at the record of one of the best strikers I've ever seen play for us. Berbatov.

Scored in his 2nd game (was there, from 2 yards, Lennon cross against the mighty Sheff Utd).

And then nothing till the 14th. Against the mighty Wigan.

Anyway. This guy has scored a very decent amount of PL goals in his first few matches for us. He occupies a lot of defenders because he chases down everything. Which is a concern because we've hardly rotated him and we're running him into the ground. If this guy picks up another injury I honestly think we're fucked as things stand with Richie now made of glass. Putting Lankshear into a PL game would be a massive gamble and Son just can't retain possession with back to goal.

Someone said he reminded them of Soldado? I don't see any similarity at all. He wasn't a target man who could hold the ball up.

He's miles better than soldado

Think some are being harsh on him, he's not exactly missed sitters or had a load of chances.
Still think the players around him are still getting used to him and maybe Sonny should of let him take the pen.

Rich does need replacing... That's not a reflection upon Solanke in any way though.
