Even if you actually think he's maxed out his development (absurd), players have career matches all the time. 1 match does not make a great player, but most relatively good players are capable of great matches any given day.

What makes a player great isn't their ability to have a massive match, it's their ability to have good matches consistently more often than not.

You routinely get pelters for your slightly oddball lineups, but I don't hate the idea of a double pivot. Play Madders and Deki as more central wingers and Udogie and Porro providing width (being more naturally wingbacks) rather than clogging the inside half-spaces.

Only problem is Alfie doesn't look anywhere near first-team football from what I've seen this season.
