Match Europa League - 12th December - Rangers (A) 8PM

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

No point starting Bissouma.
Bissouma is the type of player that needs to be punished to learn a lesson.
If Ange had balls he should have taken Bissouma off instantly after that crazy tackle for Gray.
Bissouma doesn't deserve to play for letting the team down like that.
He can sit out rangers and Southampton.
We need to get a grip of this ill discipline that ends up costing us. We shoot ourselves in the foot so many times, especially against Chelsea. They go out thinking it's a war instead of playing with clear heads, making rational decisions and just playing them off the park.
Battle of the bridge under poch is a classic example of imploding under pressure when we could have just played our football. Last season another example, this season was third time lucky.

Gray and Bentancur start tomorrow.

Gray and Sarr start on Sunday.
we don't have this luxury man... Bissouma has to start tomorrow as we need gray at centre back. I'm not sure who we can even play in midfield against Southampton with the 2 lads suspended as Gray will be needed at CB. Probably Bergval beside Sarr

We don't have a choice given the injury crisis. We can't afford to punish bissouma right now. We need to play him tomorrow night in order to keep someone else fresh for southampton. We have no squad atm

Currently fit and available for CM in EL:

Biss
Bentancur
Sarr
Bergvall
(Kulu)

+ Gray; but one can expect him in defense.

I literally said that in the post you replied to.

I said before you even replied that it's not necessarily the wrong thing to do.

:mourglasses:
right I assumed you were making a case to not start Biss by naming the other available players. We will have to start Sarr, Madders and Kulu against Southampton so makes sense to rest 2 of them against Rangers in favour of Biss and Bentancur. Atleast then everyone should have had some rotation before the cup game before united.

We are already running empty on petrol so don't have the luxury of choosing not to play Bissouma against Rangers

sudoku Any talent in our youth ranks ready to step into a centre back role?

Tomorrow gets closer and yet the outcome to this is all but certain.

We have not got a single player who can turn it on to the extent that they neutralise the fervour of the Rangers fans.

And when I say not a single player I am not talking ability but mindset.

Football Chap Football Chap is the guy to ask, really.
Dorrington had a long period out with an injury and is just coming back. Ange has selected him a couple of times as a sub (as he did last season).
He has also put on the bench Cassanova (IMO nowhere near good enough).
Likewise, Hardy (16 years old) and King (19 yo) on the bench. King can play LB as well and is fast.
In a crisis, I suppose Dorrington and King are the more likely but I would rather they get a few loan games before playing for THFC.
