Mate they may not have succeeded but they absolutely did their best to lose.
Typical of our squad really
Rangers battered us and had two gilt edged chances at the end.
They played like shit but they also nearly won it at the end as well.

Hmm, I dunno - 13th in the form table over the last 12 months gives one a clue as to what to make of itDefinitely the weirdest spurs team I can think of. We make the most basic errors and never seem 100 percent in control for even 5 minutes. And yet at the same time they all love Ange and each other (no matter how bad the previous result) and suddenly it gels into flashes of brilliance (like Kulu's goal tonight).
It's hard to know what to make if it because it’s all unchartered. I'm on the fence until I figure out what the fuck is happening.
This is my point, you would think the team would all be at each other and the manager but they are not.Hmm, I dunno - 13th in the form table over the last 12 months gives one a clue as to what to make of it
Reminds me of Gerry standing swaying from side to side looking on as his tenure ended. We're just going through that long drawn out death rattle that you get when you know a manager is toast. The performances are brutal. Southampton will fancy it but i reckon it will be after Liverpool or Forest.
Same could be said about quite a few of our playersAnge Postecoglou with some strong words on Timo Werner:“In the moment we're in now, I need everyone to be at least going out there and giving the best they can. What he produced wasn't acceptable. When I'm asking the younger players to do massive jobs, I expect more from the senior players like him.”

You'd have to sign fucking prime Luis Figo and Arjen Robben to make anything out of this fucking garbage system. He's trying the impossible task of playing -proactive- football without any sort of wing action. Not just winger action, but any sort of threat created from either flank of the pitch. What he probably expects is crafty wingers who are great 1v1 threats taking their man to byline and delivering cutbacks to players rushing inside the box. What he gets is totally incapable wingers delivering low percentage generic low/whipped crosses against set defenses because they can't get anywhere close to byline to deliver an actual cutback. It's not playing the percentages or whatnot. It's just incapability. Barring a total overhaul of wingers in Jan, -won't happen-, he needs to seriously consider a drastic change in team shape. 3 at the back? 4-4-2 diamond? Not sure. But he's fighting a losing battle right now, with little time left.
Do I pity him? Not really. Most likely it's Levy and the board pulling the strings in the market. I doubt any manager managing a club of this magnitude would actually fancy the likes of Johnson and Werner as his regular players. But that doesn't mean he's being victimized by Levy in usual fashion, because a manager of his reputation has no business being here in the first place. Him not having any major input in transfer decisions is the direct result of him having a Championship level resume. And he knows this. That's why he kept talking about how happy he was with the summer window. He may come clean when he's no longer here, but until then he'll keep ingratiating himself with Levy in front of the press. Otherwise he'll be out of the door the next day, and he knows it.

Ange definitely feeling the pressure if he's digging out players now, even if it is deserved.
Have you noticed most of the time he looks down while talking to the mic? I find this weird. Look at the camera please.
Never, ever should have been re-loaned.
