You really do have a very high opinion of yourself. Always quick to hand out insults but when push comes to shove you run away and hide. It’s fine though mate. Everyone on here has you sussed out.

lol a man said sussed out 😆

I'll never not find it funny that people get over emotional over some text on a screen by some complete stranger.

The internet is real life we can't forget that!!

This scenario isn't likely until the end of the season, that's my point.

A temp solution of Mason isn't better than a FT solution of Ange - we're much better off with letting the guy work it out and waiting to see where he is and where we are come the end of the season as opposed to jumping now.

Wait for him to work it out. Yeah ok let’s do that. And do know where we will be when he’s still trying to work it out in may? About 5 points above the drop zone is my guess

Ange's win % :

South Melbourne 53.13
Australia U20 67.65
Panachaiki 48.48
Whittlesea Zebras 12.50
Brisbane Roar 50.00
Melbourne Victory 46.88
Australia 44.90
Yokohama F. Marinos 49.07
Celtic 73.45
Tottenham 50.00

Of course he picked up trophies along the way but I was shocked to discover yesterday that we are doing exactly as you'd expect on a win %. Just the same as the legendary stints at Brisbane Roar and Yokohama that grew here to the rank of myths.
And by the way let's not get fooled with 'he took at team that finished 8th and made them champions'- I watched enough Polish league to know in the sub par level you can create a championship winning team in one transfer window. It just happens all the time.

See I want him gone but not at the cost of results or points. It’s fucking awful and the tipping point is coming but I want the team to win more than anything else.

Every loss is a step closer to him going, but it’s a step closer to the bottom 3. It’s not worth it. The deciding result *WILL* come OR results will turn a corner and it’ll work out.
Tipping point was months ago but board is week giving Ange time to win odd game here and there giving him a stay of execution. Let’s say after soton game we threw away the 3-0 lead to manure, lost 3-6 to dippers and then lose to forest. Would he have been sacked?

It wouldn’t necessarily be worse based on what we’ve seen so far—it might even be the same. But at least one scenario removes Ange, who, in my view, hasn’t earned his position here based on the results, and allows us to begin the search for his successor. The longer this drags on, the more damage is done, and the harder it becomes to fix imo.

I do get where you’re coming from, and I appreciate your opinion. However, I disagree on making a change in the summer—waiting until the end of the season risks further damage to the club, that’s my only concern.

I think even a temporary change could help us assess things sooner and get the wheels moving for a plan going forward, if the owners are even capable of that anymore.

I understand this but IMO this view is both right and wrong.

You can argue that he doesn't deserve to be manager of Spurs but at the same time acknowledge that putting a novice in charge doesn't really progress us in the short term, it might be a temporary shot in the arm but it doesn't really guarantee anything for the rest of our season therefore it's a bit of a pointless move.

The logic is that if you wait until the Summer or at least when our season is done the club will have the replacement lined up by then.

I'm an Ange fan and since I am obviously biased I almost never comment.
I'll make an exception though just to point something that should be clear but obviously isn't. He said several times that his aim is to build a team and a system where everybody knows exactly what to do in any given circumstances. Thus changing the system for any specific game unless it is live or die is a step back.
If you bare this in mind you will understand every move he does
Now, whether this system works or not remains to be seen when we will have a full squad..

It’s pointless keeping Ange to be fair mate, at least that’s my opinion.

I don’t even believe Mason will give us a shot in the arm. I just don’t believe Ange deserves to be the manager at this point and keeping him here is just delaying the inevitable imo.

If we remove him now and put Mason in charge while we look for a replacement I don’t see any real downside to it, worst case scenario things just stay the same as they are and we have more time to look for a replacement without having to consider Ange and his ego whilst doing so.
