What position is he playing for Orient?

No 10.

18 months ago was thought to be the best striker in his England year group before dropping back to no 10, possibly as he's not got the pace to be a top striker, but certainly is a great marksman and passer and physically robust where necessary. Played as no 10 for Spurs u21's last season and was sensational.

So... this is turning into another Veliz loan from 2nd half of last season, isn't it ? :D

I mean when we were playing him on LWB in lot of preaseason games to prepare him for that. And what I've read, he did well.

Now we are EXTREMELY light on left wing alltogether - Udogie coming back from injury, suffering poor form but always has to play. Son being out for long periods of time. Now also Werner injured. So is Spence (and not included in EL to limit his chances anyway). And from other wing Odobert being missing further limits our winger-options...

I feel that Donley could have seen quite a number of minutes here and there. Surely be playing against Gala during current week.

But on Leyton - he started 3 out of 3 games. But only has started 2 out of following 9...
If that trend continues, he'd be better off to return in January.

Oh, nice. Really nice :) .

Donley started with ups-and-downs but now went to check how he is doing and ... let's just say that January recall is OFF the table!

Since start of December the tables really have turned.
From mid Oct to end of Nov he did not start a single game for Leyton in League One. Run of 6 games that resulted in 2 wins 1 draw and 3 losses.

And THEN from start of December he returned to starting XI.
8 starts in a row (!)
7 wins
one 0:0 draw
And since 21.12 he has scored 4 and assisted 2 in 5 games.

Jamie is on fire. Very positive and hope it continues!
