I see the biased Howard Webb instead of issuing us an apology for a blatant hand ball. Has backed the ref. Ange should have gone to town on the ref’s especially since there was also the refusal to issue Dan Burn a 2nd yellow. The fact is Ange refusing to ever say anything when refs make bad decisions against us does not protect us and he is failing to do his job in this aspect too.
A complete waste of space!

You can just imagine what Jose or Conte would’ve done but no he’s completely passive resulting in officials giving us the thin edge of the wedge!

He just stands there on the touchline with his arms folded scowling at nobody in particular!

Doesn’t consider giving our players encouragement or advice!!
But probably not capable after Plan A has failed!
This is actually my biggest criticism of Ange: I get why he doesn’t want to debase himself like Arteta, but the team suffers as a result. NWHL must be the only stadium in the country where the away team consistently get the benefit of the doubt.

Lads, he said as much as you can without getting a ban - and they are still threatening a ban.

Anyone really think getting himself a sideline ban would help anything right now?

Don’t get me wrong I’ve criticized him for playing nice in the past but he didn’t this time.

THAT is your BIGGEST criticism of Ange, not speaking out about referees? Seriously? 🤣
Yes. Overall I’m just about Ange in. He’s not without serious flaws which frustrate me but the continuous pile on of every single manager we ever have and thinking THAT is the reason for any lack of success is deluded in my view.
Having a consistent manager who at least tries to play attractive and attacking football, who takes responsibility himself and doesn’t act like he’s doing us a favour and remains motivated will, I believe, eventually produce good outcomes.
Lego head is a piece of work and was crap at the same stage but now those melts all worship the ground he walks on. Just feel like we need to give him time and direct our ire towards the ownership and players who aren’t at the standard.

He did literally every manager goes further. The simple fact is he should have stated we were waiting for PGMOL’s apology. All he did was repeat three times it was not a level playing field. Klopp constantly called out referees never got a touch line ban. Even ETH went further called out individual decisions no touch line ban. It is amazing what you can get away with.

Ange can speak out all he likes but I think the team will always be on the wrong end of contentious decisions. Certain clubs get away with things, others don't and we know which camp we fall into.

Fair enough, each to their own I guess. I'm just about still Ange In too, but even so I am critical of various parts of his management - poor subs, inability to close a game out, rushing unfit players back, etc - I'm surprised that there is anyone even amongst his most avid fans who can't find something to criticise more than his refusal to mouth off about refs - is that really his most important failing? Well, you've answered that, for you it is. As I say, each to their own I guess. 🙂

Particularly at home, for me this is more on the fans than on Ange. Some of those decisions against Newcastle (not the hand ball, but the refusal to give multiple yellow cards to Joelinten and Burn) were appalling, and I just don't understand how our fans weren't going crazy to the ref. If that happened at, say, Anfield, the fans would be at the ref's throat, he'd feel compelled to even it up a bit, and the opposition would feel like they're in a very hostile place. Seems to me many of our noisiest fans spend most of their energy slagging off our own club staff (players, manager, board, whatever) - I do wish they'd save some for our opponents (in which I include the ref from that game).

The thing is mate what does he add from the sideline?

As far as I can see he just stands there with his arms folded scowling apart from celebrating the odd goal!

I can’t imagine that he’ll be banned from what he said

My reply was to what you said: "11 in 26 is quite regular, no?"

There isn't much more really to his game. He ain't a dribbler, great in assists, areal duel wins or holding possession of the ball.
7 goals and 3 assists in 17 PL appearances, 13th PL top scorer 24/25, Maddy has more goals and assists.
I really don’t understand the criticism of Solanke.

He works his bollocks off in the press, holds the ball up well, scores a decent amount of goals and remember he is playing a ton of minutes. If not for having followed in the large hole left by Harry Kane I think we would be over the moon with Dom. If it was Richarlison I would understand but I’m happy with Dom and I think he is improving by the game as well.
