Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

That subreddit is full of clueless yanks who think being a "real" fan means being behind the players and the manager no matter what. No negativity allowed. But it's even starting to get through some of their thick skulls now.
TBF the first bolded bit is true but the second is also true of at least 60-75% of THIS very forum...and most of those are English folks. Both situations are sad.

Had to Google her mate. Thought it was a made up name at first.
Surely not !

Rodgers is actually quite a good manager. It's a shame that he's bottled the title, and multiple top 4 finishes with Leicester. Either way, we would improve, considering the standards we are at now. I say shame, in the perspective of being a potential candidate.
I'm not really trying to disparage Brendan Rodgers too much here tbh, with a tiny bit more luck he would've been the first man to win the PL with Liverpool, plus that team scored 101 goals which is no mean feat. Also winning the FA cup and having Leicester competitive for European spots was an achievement in and of itself, they've hardly gone from strength to strength since they parted ways with him. I don't really know why no PL clubs were really interested in him before Celtic got him, or why it seems he is never considered a serious suggestion if he's linked to Spurs, he is a way way better manager than Postecoglou and his teams play good football by and large.

Anyone considered Sebastian Hoeness? Done a great job at Stuggart. And wouldn't be a total departure from possession based game, he's reasonably flexible with his structures (Could bring Angelo Stiller with him).
You out here AngeIn-ing all the way till now and then want to start suggesting new managers? Shouldn't the shame ferment for at least 24 hours?

Should be fine with people changing their mind tbh. IDK why theres a culture on the internet of calling people out because their views changed, isn't that a really natural thing, you get provided with insurmountable evidence and choose to account for it in your opinion?
Plus end of the day I think everyone really just wants to see the club do well, some of us think thats under Ange and the vast majority of us don't, I'd really like to see him gone asap because the fanbase is toxic as fuck right now and we could really do with a lift.

I said it earlier, but everyone’s got a breaking point

Some people get to it quicker than others

At this point I'd honestly consider giving Ten Hag a go because surely he cannot do worse?
With respect, you do realise the only options aren't just "other PL managers who've failed at big clubs in the last 6 months", right?

Ten Hag was an absolute travesty. Could not coach a high press to save his life, multiple maulings by the analysts like Carragher over his lack of structure/tactics/anything. And a very similar delusion present amongst their fanbase that they had to back him and give him time. They at least had the excuse that he won them two cups. Oh, and he was a moody cunt. Ring a bell?

Anyway, enough about him. The point is, I don't see why we'd have to settle for the same 3-4 names of failed names. I keep seeing Southgate's name pop up here and there... er, why? Be honest, is it because you only know the names of 2 managers without a job?

Surely Brighton's experience with first De Zerbi and then Hurzeler shows that there are guys out there that probably none of us know who are doing a fantastic job around Europe. It is Lange's job to know them, in fact he should have been compiling a list last April as soon as it became clear Ange was a bit of a fraud, and if he doesn't he should be sacked too.

Not one trophy between the 3 of them.
Ah right yeah, guess Emery has been a failure at Villa cos he's not won a trophy. And Howe at Newcastle for the same reason. And Potter and De Zerbi at Brighton. All failures. In fact, seems almost every manager in English football has been a failure over the past 5 years other than Pep and Klopp. Oh, and that huge success, Erik Ten Hag.

FYI, it's sometimes better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.
