It's the biggest myth.

When Contes counter attack worked that was genuinely exciting. I admit it didn't always work, especially not at the end though.

Tippy tapping about with no purpose with our centre backs on the halfway life isn't exciting.
Winning creates the memories, not tippy tappy. One of the greatest matches I’ve seen was v Wimbledon away, FA Cup 6th round 87. Two brilliant goals and 90 odd minutes of battles and attrition. That’s Glory. Thats winning

He has to go. Get someone in as a caretaker for the rest of the season. Get the team set up in a disciplined manor for a few months. Focus on getting as many players as we can fit for the Europa league knockouts. Have a realistic goal of trying to finish 10-12th in the league. Bring in 1-2 players this week. Reevaluate everything in the summer. What else can truly be done as of now?

I realize there are bigger problems than Ange. But immediate steps do need to be taken now and him going
is number 1 unfortunately.

Surprisingly. If that’s true. I am more than a little sad. He has to go. But that does not mean we didn’t all want it to be better than this. Something massive is wrong at Spurs. He is part of a current problem, he is not the problem.
I harbour no particular I'll will against Ange the person, couldn't give a fuck about him looking at the ground during interviews, clearing his thriat/cough, his body shape, his anecdotes.

The personal abuse he gets on here is out of order.

I like his "idea" of how to play football, but he's hopelessly out of his depth, he's an absolute travesty of a Manager at this level, and he's surrounded himself with an abject coaching staff too.

I wish it had turned out different, but there's no hope. It's baffling he's been given this long, it's absolute bollocks that he's been allowed to waste 2 golden opportunities to pick up wins against Everton and Leicester that should have been a nice start for the new guy.

No one (I think) is mainly blaming Ange. There's rot at the core of the club which is our owners, but the reality is that it is very very hard to replace owners. Just look at Utd and the Glazers.
Managers, meanwhile, change frequently and easily. Often the players are to blame and managers are an easy sacrifice as it is easier to change the manager than the whole squad, isn't it?
At the end of the day Ange may not be the main problem but there's zero doubt that he ought to be doing better than he is with our squad, even with the injuries which he may/may not share some of the blame in having caused.
He's a coach who likes playing suicidal attacking football...except we do that whilst looking somehow quite toothless in attack.
We need wholesale change at the club, but right now we need to start with staving off relegation and that starts with Ange gone imo
I am.

Levy is a problem but he's not the one consistently leaving us exposed defensively with his terrible coaching, and injuring all our players with his chaos football. He was also the chairman that brought in Poch, Redknapp, and built a stadium that is currently pissing money, so whenever we eventually get bought out we are primed for success in a way few other clubs are in world football. Some credit is due for that.

In his first 15 years he also took us up from 13th place to CL regulars and almost won us a league and a CL. You can argue about how much of that was luck, but it happened.

Recently he recognised he needed to step away from the football side and bought in Lange, Paratici, and for my money the squad we have right now is not bad at all. It's just being made to look worse than the sum of its parts by one of the worst managers in Prem history.

Levy is probably bottom 50% of the chairmen in the Prem right now but there are plenty worse. Davids Sullivan & Gold, the Glazers, Moshiri, Boehly and Eghbali. The likes of Abramovic, Saudis, UAE I want no part of. And many more if you go back 20 years. Mike Ashley. The mugs who took Leeds and Villa down to the Champ. Hicks and Gillette who almost bankrupted Liverpool.

Ange however is THE worst PL manager bar none right now and one of the worst in our history. Levy deserves blame but mainly for hiring this charlatan. Ange is THE charlatan.
