Probably just playing it safe , or maybe city know they are going down so they are spending now before the charges drop?Bookies still have them as 14s, we're 33s.
The bookies aren't normally wrong![]()
The trouble is as much as I hate levy and Enic would relegation mean they finally sell up? Surely they would be thinking , right lets get them back in the PL so we get top money for the club, we would be stuck with Enic trying to get back to the PL!Forest went down with Cloughie in charge (albeit a much less potent Cloughie!)
We've got Ange!
NO one is too good to go down!
We've been poor for a year, and truly appalling since Christmas...
We're not TOO GOOD at anything!
Having said that, if it means Levy FINALLY goes as a result of it, would you take relegation?
FTFY
Mike Ashley only sold up after he got Newcastle back in the Prem. The trouble is as much as I hate levy and Enic would relegation mean they finally sell up? There'll be more home games, so he'll probably put the price up!On a serious note, if we were relegated, what would they do about Season ticket prices next year. Would he really have the brass neck to send out a "good news, we have frozen the prices this Season" message ? There would need to be a 50% reduction in price.
He can't have it both ways, by making Newcastle games cat A and charging stupid prices for seats, it has to be reduced for the level of Oppo we would be seeing.
Still don't think it will come to it, but hopefully the thought of it is causing a few headaches up at Lily White House.
Not just that but he's at least 50% of the reason we're in it.
I’d actually probably be more likely to renew strangely enough!
Have to disagree on this. 3 defeats? We've lost 18 of our last 30 league games. We rarely draw. Looking at those fixtures i barely see 10/12 pts.Keep Ange til end of season, sign one or two players before the DL (knowing they'll be typical Levy buys) and this is what I predict for our remaining PL fixtures...
Brentford (A) - drawUnited (H) - drawIpswich (A) - drawCity (H) - lossBournemouth (H) - drawFulham (A) - drawChelsea (A) - lossSouthampton (H) - winWolves (A) - drawForest (H) - drawLiverpool (A) - lossWest Ham (A) - drawPalace (H) - winVilla (A) - drawBrighton (H) - win
We got 24 pts right now. Add in another 18 as per the above and that's us finishing on 42 pts. Will mean 14th to 16th...but we stay up yipee fucking doo. Unless we set another world's first in true Spurs fashion.
EDIT: that's me being optimistic thinking we'll only lose another 3...likelihood is we'll get dicked by Brentford, Bournemouth, Forest maybe even Brighton on the final day toseal our fate.
You’d hope that we’d win more games. There is zero chance they would reduce ticket prices.
I’d renew because I’m bored of premier league football. I think it’s shit. As it stands I won’t be keeping the season tickets for next season in the PL, it’s pointless really from my pov.

It just means there's a circa 5-10% chance of City getting badly punished doesn't it?Bookies still have them as 14s, we're 33s.

Agree on both.Have to disagree on this. 3 defeats? We've lost 18 of our last 30 league games. We rarely draw. Looking at those fuxtures i barely see 10/12 pts.
The lack of draw is an underrated reason for where we are these days.Have to disagree on this. 3 defeats? We've lost 18 of our last 30 league games. We rarely draw. Looking at those fixtures i barely see 10/12 pts.
