I didn't manage to watch the Hoffenheim game but, my god, how despicably bad must Hoffenheim have been to have lost to us?

I haven't had it in me to predict how any game will go recently, I've just assumed every game will be another loss and, barring Hoffenheim and the exception to the rule that was Liverpool, it's always been the case. Just utterly, utterly grim.

Serious question. Would you take Europa trophy for relegation?

I’d take the cup treble for relegation.

Like winning the double first and the FA cup as an amateur side that’s a record that will stand up in history for centuries.

Ange would be true to his word too.

Be amazing if we did that.
We wouldn’t know if levy was crying tears of joy or financial pain.

Then Gray would get a rest and he fucking really needs one as well.
Not sure I'd agree, certainly not on the level of our fullbacks. He wasn't used so much in the early stages of the season, and now during his run of starts he's been at centre-back for the most part, which is less physically demanding than fullback or cm.

Regardless, the main point being, Ange's flogging to death of our first choice fullbacks, whilst Spence and Reguilon have been sat benched and/or exiled, has been an absolute disgrace. If I wanted to give in to hyperbole and forget for a moment that we are after all only talking about a game, I'd be tempted to call it borderline criminal.

It's an absolute miracle Porro hasn't broken down yet, his form has capitulated entirely though.

I thought CB was such a demanding position in this system that it caused the injuries to Romero, VDV and Davies?

Gray also played FB plenty this season and probably won’t play CB again.

Then we have the two domestic cup games, I have very little faith that we will win either.

It's reached the level for me now that I don't give a fuck about any of these three cups, we need to save as much energy as possible to avoid relegation from the Premier League.

The opposite for me.

The PL is mostly unwatchable and I’m sick of the officials and controversy always being more important than the football.

We can win enough games to avoid relegation, but still go full steam at the cups.

That’s the Spurs that I remember. The glory Spurs who had the most FA Cup wins ever after we won it in 91.

Newcastle and Forest are who the PL is interested in now.

I bet Archie Gray is thinking wtf did I come here for. Leeds probably getting promotion, we're trying to avoid relegation.

Well that's another discussion entirely, although semi-related because it also comes back to the issue of Ange's utter incompetence. Regardless, relative to fullback/cm, it's less demanding. Well cm is questionable right now because who knows wtf they are supposed to be doing in this "system".

As for Gray's minutes at fb, they also came about due to Ange's utter buffoonery, either in leaving actual fullbacks on the bench in favour of using him there, or just leaving them out of the Europa squad altogether. Regardless, his time starting every game has largely been cb.

Gray came here as a FB with the plan to develop into a CM long term.
Played most of his minutes at FB for Leeds.
