As long as the leagues still exist, it’s always temporary. There’s always another season to get promoted.

There's always another season to try and get promoted. I just think that it would wreck us financially and we've seen big clubs go down and take a very long time to recover.
In the dreamland scanario we're in the Champions League and the Championship so in year one the effect is mitigated. Any more than one year down there we're still repaying the stadium debt with much reduced income. That is no bueno.

Ah, remember how we were belittled for prioritising the 'Top 4 Trophy's??
Nothing is a trophy EXCEPT a trophy!
...and yet we sacked off countless so-called 'lesser trophies' in order to focus on getting Top 4... Also, not a trophy!
At this rate, the only trophy we'll be in contention for is the 2025/26 EFL Championship!! ...and that's a tall ask!
We'll never win that. Best we can hope for is to get promotion via the playoffs - and that's unlikely.

We won by 4 goals at Villa Park the last time we went there.
Winning a trophy is important. But we've still got a problem with the manager even if we were to win one or more. The team is disorganized, unprepared, and the manager doesn't adapt to game conditions or opponent. That can't happen in the Premier League. But, if Postecoglou wins one or more trophies the team will stay with him we'll be having these same discussions next season when his approach is still failing in the Premier League.

What is important for the football team is the GoKart tracks, Hotels, a really nice skywalk, a big open space to sell beer. It saddens me we never completed the fabled Cheese Room. Real Madrid might have 15 CL’s but do they have a Cheese Room, our chance for glory not taken.
I do hope we continue to build our property portfolio in the Championship. It would be terrible should relegation threaten the building of our hotel.

All three is a pretty easy choice.
The timing is hilarious too, how would it even work? FA Cup final is a league weekend (terrible), Saturday 17 May, then Europa final is Wednesday (terrible) 21 May. So we'd miss the 18 May fixture with Aston Villa then the PL final day is Sunday 25 May.
How would they even schedule the games?
