Match Ipswich (A) - 22nd February - 3PM KICK OFF, AN ACTUAL 3PM KICK OFF

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It's not about Tel being good enough to play 9. His best position is on the left. Play him there.

Scarlett, we coudn't loan him out again so he needs game time. He's a number 9 and will benefit from the other players playing their best position. ALSO, it's Ipswich, They are shoskit and we should beat them with Scarlett as #9.
We are probably going to have the ball around their box a lot and that's where Dane does his best work. If we play Son through the middle in this game there will be measures.

Tel is on par with Mbappé if not better.

Hahaha, for 2nd week in a row I just keep looking at those lineups and laughing my ass off.

Again same point - Bergvall, Gray, Maddison, Odobert, Tel, Moore. Front 6 with average bodymass of what? 68 kg :D ?
Is this U16 league in some people view? They would be bushed aside by any opponent in EPL today with absolute ease.

Bissouma/Bentancur/Sarr - 1 of them will certainly start.
And in frontline Kulusevski I am afraid is still needed, though he could use some rest too. Potentially him starting and on 60ish minute mark Odobert on for him?
You was wrong about Sarr though boss

Evening,

Used to post here until about 2/3 years ago @jgn88. Firstly hi to those who recall me.

I’m stuck in the home end, behind goal nearest to the away section.

However, as I’m an Ipswich native, I thought I’d see if anyone fancies meeting up and seeing who’s going where for a pint?

If so, may I recommend the Spread Eagle pub on Fore Street. Little bit of a walk via the waterfront or through town. Good beers and generally okay with away fans. I’m going to the game with the landlady .. who’s fully a tractor girl so that’s going to be fun if we repeat the reverse fixture!

Tel’s best position is 100% CF
Thank you!!! Why do people read shit on the internet & think he's a winger?

He himself has said he prefers centre forward, as with Kulu saying he prefers the midfield than being a winger. Managers, ex players & themselves say this yet people just want their players where they want them for REASONS.

We have to keep Tel away from the wings like we have to the same with Kulu.

Tel CAN play versatile positions (fnarrr fnarrr) but his style of play is 100% suited for centre forward...

He played CM plenty for Leeds last year. Including one very notable performance against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup (Chelsea were full strength).

He’s not a rookie CM, he’s just been helping us in an emergency at CB

Leeds:
RB: 30 apps
CM/DM/AM: 19 apps

Spurs:
CB: 16 apps
FB: 12 apps
DM: 2 apps

TOTAL:
Defense: 58 apps
Midfield: 21 apps

At this (young) point he has far more (senior) experience playing D.
