I’d say it was better and looked to have a direction then we self sabotaged ourselves by not backing a manager who appeared to know what he was doing which in turn led to him losing faith

Yeah, the windows not buying players was deeply frustrating, and I'm sure the players and manager felt it.

But - I still don't believe that was the reason why we failed at the last hurdle - if the players didn't care or didn't have the drive to win, we wouldn't have got to the final in the first place.

Similarly, when we were buying young stars like Bale, Modric, Walker and bringing in VDV surely that should have driven the players to success? If one argument has to be true, then then other does too surely?

Or perhaps the truth is much, much more nuanced.

I think during the champions league final the penalty really affected us . It was a ridiculous decision, some teams use that to push them on , we clearly lack that & have done for a very long time .

Do you think it has been going well for the 8-10 years prior?

For a big 6 club with the fan base, history and wealth of Tottenham Hotspur, no...not really.

We won fuck all over an entire decade for the first time in our post war History!

Your determination to infect every thread with your remorseless defence of Levy is nauseating tbh mate. Give it a rest.

If Ange stays, we will be title challengers next year. A decent pre season camp and a couple of experienced squad additions and the system will click into place.

- Without Salah, Trent and VVD, this is Liverpools last season up top.
- City about to embark on an entire squad rebuild.
- Newcastle will ditch Howe and go for Mourinho to take them to the next level.
- Woolwich's fan have had enough of cry baby, and he may get pushed out.
you are either trolling or fucking deluded

Are you honestly suggesting they gave everything in the City and Ajax games to get to the final, only to just shrug after getting a watch?

Like i said, this isn't a real argument - it is a projection because you don't know how to process what happened and it is easier to cuddle into your anti-enic everything is Levy's fault blanket.
defend defend - suck levy's ball's

Can’t wait for this bumbling fool to go now. If we unfortunately go out Thursday he has to be sacked that night. Won’t be obviously, well fuck about a bit but surely, surely he’ll have to depart after destroying the season for us.
its crazy that he's lasted any longer than November FFS.

I think he's last the rest of the season now. We're safe from relegation due to some very flukey points and Levy won't take the embarrassment of another mid season firing fiasco and putting Mason in charge again. i honestly think if he did that then things would get very nasty in the high road before the game and in the stadium during it. Levy would be very scared of some back page headlines on that.

it's so frustrating. If he'd fired him in Novemeber, even getting a caretaker with a proven PL record we would probably fancy ourselves to win the El, but as it is? I dont think we'll knock AZ out tomrrow .

Completely wasted season. well done baldy, well done Fatso.

Are we at one PL win in 10 home matches? Shocking.

The fraud's excuses:
Injuries, the amount of games, not being at the levels we should be at (your job its literally making sure they are at the levels you want us to be at) the pitch & now the atmosphere. The actual reasons- the formation, the tactics & HIMSELF.

He has shown absolutely nothing for 16 months. The squad has gone backwards. The tactics are flawed and he's just a fucking arrogant prick.

Dude, seriously - I got a lot going on in my life right now and the last thing I could give any shits about is if John fucking Thomas finds my posts nauseating. I'd prioritise literally anything over caring about being sensitive to your obsession and sensitivities to anything that might be construed as going against your hyperbolic opinions.

You don't want to be nauseated - put me on ignore. It's that simple.

its so fucking obvious to anyone with eyes but you still get the clowns who think he's the bees knees

I mean, sure, but look the Ajax game... if there was any proof that the team had the drive, the will, the desire to win - it was that.

Poch got the team selection and tactics wrong IMHO - it was a final and he was so afraid to lose he forgot how to win.

Can you suggest someone to replace Levy that would be less weird and I will consider it. I’m thinking Carol Kirkwood the BBC weather lady.

Sorry Carol if you are a poster or lurker on here , you do not deserve this, I’m only kidding

You can replace your images of me and levy with whoever floats your boat, mate. I'm a 6"1, 40+ year-old, skinny, bald jew, so go to town.

It's your fantasy!

I mean it’s not every game , we have beaten city on numerous occasions, there are some games we’ve played when I think we could beat anyone but I’d say our fragility due to lack of strength of mentality is often an issue more than not . And that has been reoccurring over several managers so we can’t always put it down to tactics 👍

Like Kane, Modric and bale.
Judas, Berbatov, Carrick, Sherringham, Carr (lols) Walker,
Some of those were in/around the Sugar era tbf to ENIC, but there's definitely a pattern.
Unlike some fans, I don't actually believe they want to sell these players, but they also don't want to go hard enough to succeed to keep them.

On Friday after AZ show us out we could see Ange named PL Manager of the Month and sacked on the same day

The irony is that if they had stayed, we could have won something.
