Unfortunately for Ange, anyone with an ounce of footballing knowledge can see Ange is totally out of his depth in this league. His system doesn't work. He never adapts properly, he's pig headed and every other manager in this league has worked him and his system out. He's done here and needs to be relieved of his position

Nuno was done the second he was appointed. Not allowed to bring all his coaching team with him, 2 year contract out of pure desperation, was told to play more attacking football by the powers that be. He had no authority. He also had 10 league games not 2 seasons.

After 10 games here when I had the temerity to question Ange I got about 11 millions disagrees and death threats.

Ange was the fucking messiah.

Cos people have eyes and all that jazz!!

Nuno was awful for us, absolutely awful. the worst I've seen, not just the results before the performances was truly truly diabolical

disastrous metrics, terrible attack, terrible defence. and harry Kane just seemed to have zero interest in playing under him which probably got him the boot quicker

sometimes good coaches are just bad fits

Vicario strikes me as an intelligent, well-rounded guy with a strong grasp of English—hardly someone reliant on Sky Italia to keep up with what’s happening around him.

And let’s be real, the media may push narratives, but Ange’s fixation on injuries wasn’t one of them. He’s the one who kept bringing it up to defend the poor form, so the constant questioning is a problem of his own making.

Now that ‘no more excuses’ is the prevailing message from the media, he’s bristling—though, to be fair, he bristles at anything remotely challenging his competency as a manager so are we really surprised?

Like I said, he’s insecure hence why he lashes out and quite frankly it’s made him completely unlikeable to people who are well aware of the self-preservation tactics he is constantly deploying.

With injuries no longer a convenient scapegoat, he’s shifted the blame to the supporters instead. But let’s not pretend that after months of headlines dissecting his injury complaints, Vicario remains blissfully unaware. That’s just wishful thinking mate imo.

Ange absolutely brought up injuries in press conferences.

Stand by what I said about Vicario, though. I really doubt he's tuned into Ange's press conferences or the English media coverage of them.

The British players, sure but most of the lads from other countries will only give a shit what's published in British media if it's about them.

I wouldnt disagree with that but he was completely set up to fail. Pretty clear from the off though it was a dreadful fit.

Maybe right, but the point stands. What club hires a manager and give him 10 - ten - games? If he was such a bad fit, how did we hire him in the first place?

The thing is, we can't really know how he would fit us. That tenure time is crazy stuff, and something you just see in Russia, Turkey etc

PS - If ten games should be the bar for judgement, then Ange should never leave..

He was 5th or 6th choice. We were desperate, club was never committed to him. We saw Conte was gettable and Nuno was doing badly enough that the club could quickly sack him without issue.

desperation by the looks of it.

And yes Ange's first 10 games has obviously given him massive rope with Daniel which he wouldnt have got if the team played like Nuno's team

Oh my God, this cunt really is as thick as pig shit, isn't he.

Should be someone who is experienced and able to maybe admit being wrong here and there. But he sounds like a fucking 14 year old. Always right about everything. Knowing everything always. Can't put his foot wrong.

I watched his presser yesterday where he was asked about how he feels about his claim about ALWAYS WINNING IN SECOND SEASON.

Guy does not have maturity that it came out wrong.

Starts to jabber about "well, if this time I do not win I cannot say that anymore blahblahblah".
English is not my first language. And even I know that following two statements are different -

"So far in my career, I have won things on 2nd season of being in charge. I will do everything in my power to replicate it in here as well!"
vs
"Mate, I always win things in my 2nd season"

First one is accurate reflection of past, 2nd is categorical statement that is not limited to past.

But he cannot even fucking admit being too cocky about his own recent quote. What a manchild.

the worst bit is the 2nd to last stat.
the players weren't even bothering to run, i dont know if it was a lack of respect or he rubbed them the wrong way but he had to go asap.
Levy was right with this one , well it was a mistake to go for him in the first
yeah i feel like the players got nuno sacked. felt that way with jose and conte at the end too. we're starting to slip into downed tools territory with ange now.

Because he's shit and everyone has eyes.
Levy's to blame for hiring an egg&Spoon race level "winner ". The fans are to blame for actually buying in so deeply, to a crazy punt.

I think the comments regarding the board backing Ange reflect a widening belief that Lange has badly under performed. I think they are looking at 12 million on Kinsey when we had Keeley, 40 million on Dragusin who doesn’t fit our needs, then the money literally set on fire by bringing back Werner. There's cash there for us to have added a very good attacking player indeed.

People hide behind these stats in a desperate attempt to protect Postecoglou. Who is by far a worse coach. Nuno was sabotaged from the off by Paratici ( it's him still pushing fucking Max Allegri by the way lol). Not allowed to play the system he wanted and forced to basically accommodate preparations for Conte. He is ten times better than Postecoglou. The only stat that matters is the table Nuno all day over the blimp

Good morning. Have mainly been reading on Twitter and SC (and ocassionally been posting there under a different name) and holy shit a lot of people are deluded regarding Ange. Last few days there have genuinely been people on SC arguing about "this season not being so terrible". Like, I respect other people's opinions but Christ almighty. Thought I would give this site a chance and it's refreshing to see that you generelly are able to see it as it is, that Ange is a truly awful manager.

Welcome friend. Trust me- we had to fight tooth and nail to achieve that consensus view here- many still very bitter about it all, as you might expect.

Why's it got to be about postecoglu though, nuno was absolutely garbage for us, that's not me or anyone else protecting ange. It's starting the truth without rose tints .
Ange being bad and nuno being bad for us can both coexist without it being some silly us v ange scenario
