Mate for fucks sake.
You state there are no circumstances Ange should be here next season but you have outlined upteen reasons why he should. You are a magician.

What are you on about? I'm going to assume you were pissed when you typed that out, as you aussies usually are on a Friday night.

I said there are no circumstances where Ange should be here next season, but I didn't outline reasons why he should stay. I simply said that if someone offered me a Europa League trophy, and Ange then stayed until October and then sacked. i'd take it. But that is the absolute worst case scenario. I'd rather he was sacked today and we had someone else in charge for Frankfurt.

I want Ange gone full stop. I was just outlining that the club could well end up giving him next season if we won the Europa. They shouldn't, but they could. Those aren't reasons, they are just possibilties.

It's all bollocks anyway though because we aren't winning anything under this clown.

Agree, I'll be honest. I am seriously concerned Ange will get next season.

Especially if we make the final, and he can point to it and say "progress mate", and Levy might fall for it.

If he gets next season regardless of winning thr trophy, I'll be sick with anger and disgust.

I cannot go through another season, another wasted year with this cunt in charge.

But, I have to be honest, I would take winning the trophy and him being given next season, because I know he'll be sacked by October anyway once we start the season with constant defeats and Levy realises we have 2 points from 8 games and are heading for relegation.

Winning the Europa will be this clubs biggest achievement in decades. So Ange being given a couple of months next season is worth the sacrifice. But that is worst case scenario.

If we do somehow win the cup, the club should still without a single doubt sack him and say thanks for the cup Ange, but you're finished here. Anything less than that, and we are run by absolute clowns.

There are no circumstances at this point, where Ange should be here next season. It's staggering he is still here to be honest.

This squad can go places, but they need a competent manager in charge, not this clown.
It’s Ten Hag syndrome!

United clearly should have binned ETH at the season end, and I dread us doing something similar should we somehow miraculously win the Europa final!

If we win the Europa... big if I know... but it would be our greatest achievement since 1991. Let that sink in... nearly 35 years... all those managers... and it's this clown who brings us a semblance of glory... I guarantee there will be loads on here saying it's only the Europa... blah blah... it a recognised European trophy... if it means Ange getting Aug/Sep and getting sacked with us in 15th then I think I'd take it. We've been so starved of silverware I'd do that deal with the devil tomorrow.

It would be a great achievement no question, but whether we win or not, we can't start next season with him in charge.
It’s been a while since, I have seen such naive sub standard set up, really laughable at how often teams get through.
It's not suited to a top league, let him go back to something more suited to his abilities.

I hear what you're saying skywalker but would you do that deal. Guaranteed Europa League, a proper trophy and a place in next seasons Champions League... but Ange starts next season in charge.

Europa league much bigger than fa cup. 3rd most prestigious trophy to be won. Puts you straight into CL and super cup final as a bonus.
If we somehow won and anyone came out with it's only Europa then they're brain dead and not worth conversing with

I hear you mate as well, i just think that, it will be the same as moyes at West ham, he won a European trophy but, it only delayed the inevitable and I think that would happen here.
It doesn't matter what team he has out, full strength or not, games go the same way frantic and messy.
A better manager gets more out of this team with a better set up, i don't trust him or his procees so I would offload personally.

Winning the Europa wont remove the questions Ange will need to answer going forward. People are losing sight of why he's here in the first place.

Ange was signed by the club to rebuild the team from basically scratch. in a progressive performance project. With the intention of in a handful of years having a title winning team.

If he wins the Europa it may very well be decided that the project ultimately had a short term success. However Anges part in the project has reached its ceiling.

How is he going to improve on the previous two seasons? How is he going to rectify the problems and improve and fix those issues etc. Maybe it's decided that someone else is better placed for the next stage of this project.

Ultimately supporters should not forget what was started and promised. That was to over time build a trophy winning team.

If the management isn't confident enough in Ange to spend the very large sums that were always going to be needed to make the final stage a success. They need to find someone they will be confident with.

They cannot forever be in a cycle of knock-down and rebuild. And I think that is why Ange will last at least until the end of EL. The management wants an orderly process and not another botched knock down job.

Was it really... you clearly don't remember how laboured we look drawing at home to Watford and Sheff Utd. The 3-0 defeat to Brighton was worse than anything Ange has served up and let's not talk about the Bayern match or going out of the League Cup against Colchester. If we pile in on Ange let's do it constructively and let's not forget that the football Poch served up towards the end was some of the worst I've ever witnessed. Returning managers never have the same effect second time around. I love Poch... he did wonders for us but take the blinkers off.
You really comparing a manager that took us to the CL with Ange?
Ange is levels below Poch as a manager.

Moore is back playing for the U-21s. I also read last week he deleted the last 6 months of his Spurs related posts from his Instagram, including the one that included his first goal for us.

One of the most promising talents out of the academy in years and he's being mismanaged horifically.

The fraud's excuses:
Injuries, the amount of games, not being at the levels we should be at (your job its literally making sure they are at the levels you want us to be at) the pitch & now the atmosphere. The actual reasons- the formation, the tactics & HIMSELF.

He has shown absolutely nothing for 16 months. The squad has gone backwards. The tactics are flawed and he's just a fucking arrogant prick.
Reminds me so much of gerry francis this bloke. Excuses galore. Grumpy press conferences and shown zero flexibility in adversity. Europa league or bust imo. But tbh damage has been done. Iraola for me.

I don't think he was quite ready tbh, we can't loan him now and the u21s need help. Loan him out next season. He will be back for us soon enough and then we'll see that talent shine through at the right time.

Fair play... it is a tough one... but I think I'd take that dose of endorphine...

Where am I comparing them Rooster??? I'm merely pointing out that people here are forgetting how bad the football was in Poch's final season. It was on a par with the same shit we've seen this season. Did Poch achieve more at Spurs than Ange has so far? No question he did but let's not pretend his sacking wasn't warranted and let's not pretend he won silverware because he didn't. I'm not knocking Poch. He made us relevant but I personally don't want him back. It rarely works second time around.

It's both. I don't know why it's always a choice for football fans.
Cup or top 4? BOTH
Is it Levy's fault or the coaches? BOTH
Margot Robbie or Charlize Theron - BOTH!

Well it’s not is it! I SPEAK FACTS!!

Facts!!!!

Last 25 years.
Cup or top 4? Both??
Never.

What manager / coach has levy full backed in that 25 years. Not 1.

And at no point do I believe you have played naked hide the sausage with Margot Robbie and Charlize Theron. Not by themselves and definitely not at the same time.
You scallywag.

Winning the “ Europa “ won’t necessarily save Ange ; but it will be a HUGE springboard for him ; If he decides to stay with his day job . It would mean the difference between managing Olympiacos ( his boyhood club ) and say QPR ; both worthy choices obviously, but if he could choose etc ..

I reckon he’s incredibly motivated to do well with us regardless of how obvious it is that he should be shot out of a cannon come the last game of our season .

Aw he is plenty ready- but needs to have minutes and appearances carefully managed to help maximize his potential without damaging him.

Unfortunately Ange- due to his poor management- is in no mindset to play youngsters- he’s desperate to save his job. Moore is secondary to that unfortunately.

It makes me very angry that he gets a free pass for our worst league performance in 20-30 years while the faint hope of EL glory suspends the disbelief of many.
