The Fighting Cock is a forum for fans of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. Here you can discuss Spurs latest matches, our squad, tactics and any transfer news surrounding the club. Registration gives you access to all our forums (including 'Off Topic' discussion) and removes most of the adverts (you can remove them all via an account upgrade). Lol gone for a couple of weeks and not a single new opinion posted.
I am giving my head a wobble and wandering how it has taken so many Spurs supporters 17 years plus to figure this out.Gee I sure am shocked our continued awful form and then the chairman announcing that we will be continuing to spend absolutely fuck all but that this is for our own good hasn’t massively changed people’s opinions.
For what it’s worth, I think the vitriol is increasing, the rage growing. Which is good. Spurs fans need to be angrier. We need to see visceral hatred for levy expressed every time he steps in to the stadium.
To the point where he can no longer take it as a person and has to walk away.
"Levy wants the football team to be a trophy winning success "

Exactly.
Small time mentality polluting our fanbase.
One of the current Big 6
Formerly one of the Big 5
Record FA cup winners pre-ENIC
Proud European heritage
Massive fuck-off fanbase
London
9th richest club on planet earth
The list goes on and on
We used to attract the best players. The only reason we don't any more is Daniel Levy and ENIC
No, the argument is that teams with the highest wages are commonly the most successful.I'm confused, wasn't the whole argument that generally speaking, the teams with the highest wages/income percentage are the most successful?
what are City, Liverpool and Gooner scum doing at the bottom? what are Palace, Everton and Norwich doing near the top?
Maybe people don’t think they are wrong? I’m interested in other opinions, as in this case, I believed Levy when he said that the new stadium would lead us into a new era of success. Others didn’t believe that. What did they see that I didn’t? I’m interested to know.
I still believe Levy works like a bastard flor us. I still believe he wants the football team to be a trophy winning success. Others on here say he’s only interested in concerts and doesn’t prioritise for the football team. What are they seeing that I’m not? I’d like to know.
But, asking that on here, in the present circumstance of our on field performances is basically like standing at the end of a corridor, legs apart and asking everyone to take a nice long run up to hoofing me in the balls. I can’t be arsed. And the huge number of posts every day having pops at fans of the same fucking club we all support, beggars belief. There’s some Spurs fans being treated worse on here than Gooner interlopers. Place has become a fucking shitshow of keyboard cunts calling out fellow fans in a manner they’d never dare do in person. And decent fans and debaters, like yourself, aren’t helping matters by concentrating on this area either.
Anyway, I’m in danger of becoming a “let’s all just love one another” hippy, slo I’ll fuck off now. Appreciate the response man.
That was another argument but believe me when I say, posters argued what I said as well. No, the argument is that teams with the highest wages are commonly the most successful.

Martin Jol was sacked at half time and humiliated by Levy and ENIC in 2007.
Before Jol arrived Spurs had been in a desperate state.
Jol began the process of restoring belief in THFC.
He deserved better.
I have no sympathy for Levy whatsoever.
He's trousered a fortune and pissed on our dreams.
Well they are misguided, but a criminally low % on wages is still a problem. That was another argument but believe me when I say, posters argued what I said as well.
That's the whole damned thing.Gee I sure am shocked our continued awful form and then the chairman announcing that we will be continuing to spend absolutely fuck all but that this is for our own good hasn’t massively changed people’s opinions.

What's the threshold? is 47% "criminally low" but 58% acceptable?Well they are misguided, but a criminally low % on wages is still a problem.
It's shit to have to sink to that level but it is the only thing that will probably remove these people.Yep. I’ve said it before - that moment where his wife had to comfort him at a game?
We need that x100. He needs to enter a stadium and feel absolutely despised to the point where he can’t go anymore.
It’s the only way imo. Force him out like a fucking virus.
I hate the little weasel but I am not stupid enough to think he doesn’t want to win, of course he does. It’s just secondary and he’s incapable of realising we cannot achieve it under his leadership as CEOMaybe people don’t think they are wrong? I’m interested in other opinions, as in this case, I believed Levy when he said that the new stadium would lead us into a new era of success. Others didn’t believe that. 58% seems about right but a few more ideally. That's many £ms of difference and a big reason why Spurs underperform so badly vs equally rich clubs. What's the threshold? is 47% "criminally low" but 58% acceptable?
40% or lower is criminal and we are below that in 24/25What's the threshold? is 47% "criminally low" but 58% acceptable?
been saying it for months, to get him out we need the season ticket holders on-side, becuase its them that have to make the studium uncomfectable for him, but will they ?It's shit to have to sink to that level but it is the only thing that will probably remove these people.
As a fanbase we have passively accepted the dilution of our expectations by this regime.
Levy is clinging on to it because he will never ever get another opportunity to rinse customers in a unique situation such as the one that presented itself to these leaches nearly a quarter of a century ago.
Spurs supporters have two choices.
Keep paying the ENIC tax or stop coming.
We are now being treated with the same contempt as Martin Jol was.
ENIC can rinse fans of boxing, music and other events, as well as Spurs supporters, going forward.
These people are going nowhere until it is impossible for them to stay.
Why are people surprised by these events?
