Son is not performing well thought is he? Not when you consider his previous heights.

If you accept we are now a midtable club then I suppose he is performing well but I aim my sights a bit higher.
He's contributing more goals per 90 than all but 9 players in the league.

For a wing forward its very hard to make a credible case that he's as poor as people here keep saying. His primary brief is creating goals, and he's still doing that at a very high level.

He's not as good as he used to be, of course not - he was a golden boot winner not long ago, after all. And he's likely going to fall off the cliff next year or the next - we definitely need a replacement sooner than later.

But the crowing about him being terrible this season and "only a commercial attraction" is simply unfounded.

Would that really be that surprising?

It is quite well established that there is quite the pay gap between the Premier League and all of the other big European leagues unless you are a certified star player like a Mbappe or Vinicius.

There's a reason that Bournemouth can snag players like Huijsen from Juventus or how Forest can get Milenkovic from Fiorentina. The average salary in the Premier League is just that much better than in the rest of Europe.
I would be shocked if Dier was earning less at Bayern than he was at Spurs, far more reliable source of financial info on football club finances is the Deloitte Money league as accountants they get their figures from the actual accounts that are submitted by clubs to their respective ruling bodies and tax authorities.

Will leave you to convert into pounds sterling if you wish.

In the 2025 money league Bayern ranked 5th highest on revenue at 765 million euros , their wage bill circa 428 million euros.

Compare that to Spurs who are 9th in the league with revenue of 615 million euros and a wage bill circa 258 million euros.

Fair play to this lot. They've turned a protest of 10 people (depending on the weather) which was seen as a joke, into something massive, and which is growing all the time. 👍🏻

Also - hope they can keep the momentum after the season.

A lot of angst is building up because of the shower this season has been, but everyone knows there will be a new manager in June, some new toys this summer, and a general feeling that with the fraud behind us we'll at least be back to competing for 4th. Plus the usual pivot to summer sports and holidays, a lot of the pressure will evaporate.

If the goal is Levy out (and again I think it's futile), then the pressure has to remain no matter what.

It's a vicious circle. If you're not prepared to buy a proven goalscorer ike Osimhen because he wants 250k a week then you will always end up overpaying for potential or in the case of Solanke a good goalscorer but not a world class one. At this point, unless you accept mediocrity i.e mid table finish, no europe, no trophies then the next manager will get fired for failing to make a silk purse from a pigs ears. Our squad is bang average. Ange isnt getting a bean out of them but I dont believe this is entirely on him. The injuries havent helped but a new manager might have turned 25% of those defeats into wins which would still only be 8th. Unless we buy proven world class in the summer which judged on Levy's recent statement isn't going to happen, then I predict marginally better season. Maybe 8th due to less fixtures.
I agree it is a vicious circle as we had a world class goal scorer On a high salary and he was offered more to stay but he wanted to be at a club that would win things. The very top players will not come to us whatever wages are on offer. We need to win a trophy and look as if we could win more. Only then will we standa chance of buying a top players. Then Levy would have a decision to make and I have no more confidence than you that he will do so.

I see yet another non-story circulating on twitter about how the club have held back submitting the latest accounts to Companies House until after yesterdays demo . Accounts in 2025 submitted on 7th April, accounts in 2024 submitted on 14th April, so nothing to see here.
All this info clearly available to anybody who cares to check it out.

Don’t think it’s a movement that’s going anywhere either.

Even if we win the EL, if the wages to revenue stays as low as they want it, the protests will be back next season.

Good.

When you get home tonight; if the Mrs greeted you with the news that there was a turd in the toilet that wouldn't flush and although she had tried everything to get rid of it; nothing seemed to work, what would you do?

Say "good"?

I would say sorry personally, even if it’s not mine no way she is admitting it’s hers.

1) Get a bollocking for going to work and leaving a floater
2) Get 10 times the bollocking for calling her a liar and saying she leaves floaters

It’s not even a choice really
