Well, my Friends Electric, it's been a good night. Sleep well and wake refreshed for the real battle tomorrow.

They want it both ways, always. They stick out their chest and swan around like they're on the level of Real Madrid and kick off whenever someone doesn't speak about them with reverence... But they want their bellies tickles and heads patted for doing the bare minimum, and they want excuses made for them at every turn.

Your either a smaller club on a wonderful european adventure, where you've just fallen short valiantly. Or your a massive club that keeps under performing when it matters.. But you can't be both.

On another note. Aside from it being Woolwich... If any English team won the champions league with this football. It would've set back the image of English football 40 years. Long throw ins and putting it on top of the keeper for the first 30 minutes.. Like a parody of Stoke and Burnley.

Need to add some vertical stripes on the shirt as they are like Stoke now.
Completely gone back to the George Graham days but without the trophies

The CL final should be a treat to watch now that Stoke-Lite have been dispatched. Their reliance on Saka, corners, long throw-ins, and "winning" cheap free kicks was made even more apparent by the commentary team, who didn't seem to realise that Ar*enal had been sussed out by now( I can't bring myself to type it in full on a Spurs forum).

I'm guessing they had to resort to such tactics because they lost a few key players to various injuries. Karma really, as they knobbled Rodri early on in the season, who was a key player for Man City at the time.

Nah... They been 'Set Piece FC' all season and actually set off down that path last season.

They were a lot more progressive before Rice arrived.
That must be the Wet Sham influence then. I guess their plan to crock Rodri paid off, but I still can't fathom out how they have stayed up top for so long. Surely the rest of the PL can't be that bad?

It has been....... They can get a max 76 points this season... Only 5 times out of the last 20 years has that been enough to get 2nd.
