It's a no brainer for Ange that he leaves even if we win as leaving ten games into next season would lose him any of the benefit of the doubt from winning the Europa.


But........managers are a strange breed...... He may not look at it like that.....if he truly believes in his methods then he may believe that he can be a success in his third season and try and get one more go.

Alternatively ; he could just junk the EPL , get us relegated by early Feb ; thereby allowing for a successful unencumbered campaign in the Champions League. Bonza !

Sometimes you have to think outside the box , just like Ange seemingly does .

And imagine this place when it all comes off and everything falls into place .

I’m going to go out on a limb and say Ange probably isn’t as good as “Alex Fergerson”. Hell, I don’t think he’s 1% as good as Ferguson. This is an absurd take, you are a troll.

Modern football doesn't have the patience to allow a club to rebuild. The failure of the golden era of Poch; and subsequent let downs of Mourinho and Conte has frustrated the fanbase, who have completely lost patience.

So, many fans and pundits agreed that Spurs need to get a trophy in the cabinet to overcome their losing streak and kick start the club's rebirth.

Losing Europa and sacking the coach is worse case scenario. It underscores Spurs as losers and takes us right back to square one.

We need to win this cup; and the only way to achieve that with our squad made of glass was to protect our best players and gamble the league form on inexperienced and sub-par players.

Win the cup and the message is simple. Spurs are back. LEVY and the board must strengthen the squad, improve the medical facilities and ensure that the next coach has what he needs to succeed.

I’m going to ask you a straight and honest question here ; how old are you ? You’re entitled not to answer obvs .

« Fergerson « real name “ Ferguson “ was managing in a COMPLETELY difficult time. If you are old enough to remember; back then KB took us down and still went on to be the 2nd / 3rd best manager in our history. It would never happen now . ( That’s a clue btw ) .

I love that you’re all for positivity and we all hope Ange ( somehow) brings the Cup home . But how is stuff that happened 35 years ago to Man Utd meant to be relevant to us in today’s world . Things are completely different now .

I was at the Palace game.

I’m watching the Villa game on tv. Watched the West Ham game on tv. Yes I know it’s rotation. Despite that. It’s not good enough. We should be better than that. I’m now firmly Ange out.

The eternal optimism in me. Plus not wanting to repeat the same under two year cycle we have been doing since Poch.

I know ultimately ever since the start of 2024 Ange has been shite. There have been moments that make you think maybe, just maybe he’s on to something. Like the Carabao Cup run up until the 2nd leg of the semi. Then Ange reminds you.
