As long as the football club is making the ownership money and feeding their multiple revenue streams off it's back, there is no drive to win or be successful on the pitch. It's difficult to believe and understand that Spurs don't have the resources to finish above 17th in the league, because we were also deep into a cup competition. It's like no other team has ever got to a final before and also done well in their league placing.
If we don't get 40 points (the typical benchmark to avoid relegation) it will be a disgrace for a club with our resources, our stadium and the amount of money that we have spent on players over the last 10 years.
I'd actually say that you had to really work at it, as owners, to take our club backwards, this fast, in the past 5 years.
The culture of the club is rotten to the core. "Winning is hard" '....."We cannot spend what we do not have".....so we'll just make up the numbers and keep our snouts in the trough '
This is why we are where we are. 21 league defeats and 4th from bottom.
They sell it to the fans as 'sustainability'. That the club is 'safe in their hands' and all the time our gullible, cucked fanbase keep buying it
