It's difficult to believe and understand that Spurs don't have the resources to finish above 17th in the league, because we were also deep into a cup competition. It's like no other team has ever got to a final before and also done well in their league placing.

If we don't get 40 points (the typical benchmark to avoid relegation) it will be a disgrace for a club with our resources, our stadium and the amount of money that we have spent on players over the last 10 years.

I'd actually say that you had to really work at it, as owners, to take our club backwards, this fast, in the past 5 years.
As long as the football club is making the ownership money and feeding their multiple revenue streams off it's back, there is no drive to win or be successful on the pitch.

The culture of the club is rotten to the core. "Winning is hard" '....."We cannot spend what we do not have".....so we'll just make up the numbers and keep our snouts in the trough '

This is why we are where we are. 21 league defeats and 4th from bottom.

They sell it to the fans as 'sustainability'. That the club is 'safe in their hands' and all the time our gullible, cucked fanbase keep buying it

Of course they don't. He's talking nonsense as usual.

Everyone wants us to win the cup but I doubt what people post on a forum or think in the crowd about either will make a blind bit of difference Everyone wants us to win . You don’t think people disliking either will stop them supporting Spurs do you ?

I don’t know , are there spurs fans who want us to lose on Wednesday to say “ I told you so “ ?

I want us to batter Man U but I want them both gone
Absolutely nailed it Sir. 👏 👏 👏

You speak for every Spurs fan and honest member of this wonderful Fighting Cock community.

The vast majority want Levy out. The vast majority want ENIC out and the vast majority want Postecoglou out.....

But..... each and every one of us, everyone to a man and woman, is desperate for us to lift that trophy on Wednesday night... and anyone who claims otherwise is simply playing to an agenda and blowing bubbles out their arse

I’ve never been a fan who wants managers sacked , I don’t particularly like to diss players either , I’ll take the piss , like Temu Werner but at the end of the day , once he walks onto the pitch I want him to be great .

I’ve been levy out for ages but this is the first manager I genuinely want gone , yes AvB bored me to tears , Nuno just puzzled me but Ange clearly doesn’t really know what he’s doing but I’m desperate for him to be able to give us the bird on Wednesday as a fuck you and lift the trophy.

Ultimately the mess we are in is down to the board, from players who are not good enough, bizarre managerial decisions & prioritising anything but football . You could argue that they don’t deserve any success but of course that’s would be pretty stupid to allow their neglect to affect what you want for the club

Can't disagree with any of that my friend. Like yourself, Nuno aside, I backed every manager from the day they were hired until the day they were fired.
What I find ironic about this recent silly argument about fans supposedly wanting us to lose the final....Lol 😂 😂 😂 ,....Is that those very fans suggesting such nonsense seem more motivated by a victory giving Levy / Ange some respite than the glory and relief it gives us long suffering fans :coys:

You're so full of fucking shit.

How vocal are you in real life? You're not, how do we know this? Let's ask another question...

How many protests have you been too? None. 🫩

You're not even a fan that CFT are interested in, you're part of the problem according to them.

Your lack of self awareness is fucking astonishing.

I image the end of season message will be something like this unless we win the EL in which case the whole message will be just that;

Dear Spurs fans,

This season has been challenging and finishing 17th is not where we want to be. But winning is hard, and as always, we can only spend what we earn. We remain focused on sustainable growth and ensuring the club is built for long-term success.

We will review and restructure this summer, seeking the right value-for-money changes to strengthen the squad. We are committed to our footballing philosophy, even if results haven’t reflected it.

Your support remains invaluable, and while patience is needed, we are determined to improve.

Chairman, Tottenham Hotspur

P.S.: a collection plate is being passed around. It is voluntary, but we do have the means to know which season ticket holders/seats donated what.

When levy actually did say recently “ we can only spend what we earn “ I thought you cowardly little cunt , hiding behind a ruling that no one takes seriously, FFP .

Win or lose , no one should take what levy says seriously unless it’s about buildings or price rises because it’s just flannel

Our FFP even if followed to the letter wouldn’t stop us spending. I think it was Swiss Ramble the online football accountant that said we could spend a few hundred million no problem. It comes down to Levy not wanting to dilute his shares to bring in investment, he wants the biggest pay off ever when he sells which is guess is what he wants, but our ownership model is not set for success. You don’t need to be oil barons to grow, look at Brighton or Brentford, league one teams smashing the PL. club badly needs change.

One of the STs who sits by me seems to have a lot of info sometimes... he says Ange will get the first 6 PL games next season before a decision is made, if he wins the EL.
Whilst I disagree , if we did win it the optics of sacking our most successful manager would be horrendous and who ever replaces him would just bin off the cups and make sure we get 4th next season.
I’d live nothing more than Ange to prove us all wrong and win 6/6 if that happened but I just don’t think he is the right guy for the job and has the bottom 3 this season been at least competitive we would have gone down.

Leaving by mutual decision would be the best for all parties after the Brighton game.

I would imagine we could spend a billion
