Obviously he will want to go to a better team but it could be a case of us being the biggest that come in for him. I can’t see city, Woolwich, united, Chelsea or Liverpool going for him. Maybe villa or Newcastle ? In which case he might stay at palace longer. I kind of like big fish in a little pond players staying at smaller teams.

He has previous with Woolwich, think that door is closed.

Liverpool or City in the picture we have no chance.

Anyone else we are in the ball park

Players like Vardy make football more interesting to watch . Someone who ain’t afraid to give it some to the opposition fans whether he’s the home or away side - especially when they’ve got the ability to back up the cockiness. It’s just makes good viewing.

Like him or not, players like Vardy are a dying breed. There were plenty of them back in the early - mid 2000’s, but the character has been slowly drained out of the game to favour media trained zealots.
Yeah, don’t mind players who give a bit of needle. Always a place for a Lamela for me. But I don’t want a muggy old man who clearly dislikes us either.

Vic bullying the kids? Clean slate.

Biss and his balloons? Clean slate.

Udogie & Brennan purely & simply giving up on more than one occasion? Clean slate.

Romero always fit for Argentina but out for us, plus declaring his love for La Liga when getting paid a mad wage by Spurs? Clean slate.

Bentancur making racist jokes about our captain & club legend? Clean slate.

WOW
Fair points , the club is a fucking mess ain’t it! :ange-hands-head:

Ones struck through should be binned, in whatever way possible, without a moments hesitation.

Ones with an asterisk next to them are all ones I'd potentially sell tbh - some Id maybe give more time even though I'm not impressed with them so far (Kinsky, Danso), need a rocket up their backside and spelled out they're in last chance saloon (Bentancur, Bissouma), or if we're ever aspiring to be at the top of the PL again should only ever be squad players (Maddison, Kulu, Solanke).

Thoroughly dislikeable squad of players.

Transfer market expert Graeme Bailey has confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur are one of several clubs who have made contact over a move for an England international after his club’s relegation from the Premier League.

Free transfers always tend to be hotly contested, particularly if we are talking about a player who is proven at the highest level.

Is he homegrown?

I've watched him a bit for the Stains and don't get the fuss

Yeah he’d count as one of the 4 precious CLUB home grown required for a full squad of 25 in Europe. Need 8 HG from England total (inclusive of CLUB trained) so 4+4.

We have very few capable players who fit that criteria, really should have bought him back at the start of this season. KWP, porro, Udogie & Spence is decent to cover the wing back areas. Lacking a bit in defensive nous however!

Yeah, he’s always been tidy on the ball, but he’s lightweight and never been a very good defender.
I think every single one of our defenders would be more comfortable in a back 3 with wing backs. Our current “full backs” especially, including KWP.

I’m normally a 4 at the back guy but think our current set up doesn’t play to any defenders strengths. Maybe Micky but it certainly doesn’t help his hamstrings.
