Hear ya but Brennan got dropped for awhile for poor form- Solanke never did.
I don't think we would have had a hope without him. He's always making such a nuisance of himself for defenders.
One disappointment from last night; Udogie's great run 2nd half and the perfect pass, seemed to take him by surprise. With a proper first touch he'd have been one on one with keeper.
With Brennan there insted, wouda been his trademakr goal, low into the far corner, hit straight with no sidespin to take it past far post.

No to be a party pooper, but I’ve been underwhelmed with him since he became a Spurs. He’s strong on the ball but S-L-O-W with average foot skills. Need a huge upgrade at CF.
He pissed me right off with bombing that attack though, that should have been 2-0. He works hard, strong guy, dedicated but he's not great.
the udogie pass? that was a poor pass! too ahead of him. the fact hes got a toe on it makes it look like it was a poor touch cos hes reaching. you can argue that solanke should be slightly higher up but its still a poor pass, a good pass there and its a clear cut.
udogie tries to find him at the start of the move, which was also a shit pass that luckily fell to bentancur, who did find solanke.
exactly. It was quite a tricky pass to hit, but Udogie made an absolute cunt of it. That was totally not on Solanke, who I thought was superb last night.

On balance I would keep Ange - but the thought of watching Solanke and Johnson is not (understating it ) a nice one.

It wasnt the best pass but he gets his whole foot very easily he just gets his feet all wrong and he just miss controls and stumbles... you telling me top players miss control that?

Solanke gives his all, did in the final but needs to be even better next season which he can be.
Agree on Johnson. Completely underrated and people fail to recognise his worth.
Alli-like in his eye for a goal, if completely different in how he plays. He can be a 20 goal a season player and would still be criticised. Bizarre.
