One of my Inter colleagues just told me that Inzaghi is as good as gone from Inter. From his words "he's been the best manager I've seen at Inter in the past 30 years, Jose included (and he adores Jose)". If there's a tiny chance that Inzaghi becomes available, you throw everything and the kitchen sink at that opportunity.

Sorry to be ignorant, but what exactly is this low block merchant's track record prior to this season ?
According to his Wikipedia page;

''Inzaghi began his senior coaching career with Lazio in 2016, after previously being in charge of the club's youth teams from 2010, and won one Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana titles. Inzaghi joined Inter Milan in 2021, and has won one Serie A title, two Coppa Italia titles, three consecutive Supercoppa Italiana titles, and reached the UEFA Champions League final in 2023 and 2025.''

I'm sorry but this kind of has a Jol for Ramos vibe to me.

I don't understand why some of youse are going for the Frank/Silva/Iraloa etc option.
Do you really want to go back to low block painful weekly viewing again ?!

There's a problem with lack of obvious options.

I've been following Hurzeler a lot this year and he's maintained the BHA belief in playing football, proper passing through the midfield mixed with long balls for wingers to run onto etc. But he needs to stay where he is and build on that for another year - provided he is able to keep Mitoma/Baleba etc. (If not, and we cud pinch him and those two, that wud be my first option)

So it seems to me that I'd rather have an average season next year and go for Poch after the world cup.
Morning Paddieu from a very hot Dubai...season ticket holder with Brighton but love dipping into your forum every now and then as it's always a better read than others! Couple of things...do you know the reason why Paul Barber left Spurs years ago...was it anything to do with his working relationship with Levy. It seems ever since Bloom employed him as Chief exec/ vice Chairman at Brigton we seemed to have been on a more positive trajectory as a club. Moving on to your point re Hurzeler you have it sooo right about him maintaining the belief of the clubs playing Style. Maybe what alot of people outside of Brighton dont realise was Hurzeler was invited by club to come and watch De Zerbi and his coaches at training during 2/3 days 6 months b4 he was interviewed for the vacant job left by De Zerbi...De Zerbi football was fun to watch but there was no plan B or mixing it up!!! This was tweaked by Hurzeler from the very start of the season and took a while for 7/8 new players from a spend of 230m to adapt too. Also we've had more injuries and playing hours lost than any other prem club. Mitoma, Pedro and possibly Baleba and Verbruggen will be gone this Summer and Club will claw back probably best part of 250m from the sale of these four. Yes we may be weakened for 25/26 but this is where our two clubs differ. I wont bore you with names but the club already have players in afore mentioned positions on the pay roll who have quietly gone about their football education all across europe and will now be back at club for pre season to adapt to Hurzelers way. It's what we do so well. I'm not here to slag off Spurs but for your club and fans sake, Either Levy and board need to change their stance or fuck off! Enjoy CL football and hope club can get back to what they used to be.
