Inzaghi is one of the best coaches in the world.

People say he would be similar to Conte.

Would that be a bad thing?

Conte's record in the PL was 32-9-15.

Conte had us finish 4th and he left us in 4th.
I'd be happy with Inzaghi, but the idea he's going to pass up €50M/yr tax free from Saudi to come to Spurs is preposterous.
Right, I'd absolutely embrace a well-funded squad revolution to kick on with a new project for Inzaghi, who incidentally grew up with Paratici in tiny Piacenza's academy as players (nearer in age to Pippo though).

But it strikes me as a total fantasy. The only manager with other major opportunities to sign up with Daniel Levy since Nick Clegg was Deputy Prime Minister was Antonio Conte and look how he felt about it.

We are not an appealing destination for ambitious younger managers carefully shepherding their bright futures, nor should we be.

This can’t be true can it?

What is the appeal? Ok I know the appeal is money but all these players and coaches are rich anyway.

There's some chatter Cristiano Ronaldo may also transfer there to play in the Club World Cup, the Saudis can just move him around from club to club if they want to.

It's all very shitty and gross, I hope no one shows up for that tournament.

The interview for Ange's successor.
"Our last manager won the Europa League and gained us UCL qualification. How do you intend to equal or better that?"
Some spiel from the candidate.
"I see. Exactly how many years do you think it will take?"

Eh - this isn't even about Levy.

No club in Europe can pay a manager €50M/yr.

Any manager would be foolish and/or more morally committed to western social ideology than anyone I've ever known to turn down a 2 year €100M contract.
