There's some chatter Cristiano Ronaldo may also transfer there to play in the Club World Cup, the Saudis can just move him around from club to club if they want to.

No club in Europe can pay a manager €50M/yr.
Any manager would be foolish and/or more morally committed to western social ideology than anyone I've ever known to turn down a 2 year €100M contract.
He can spend the next 2 years coaching in a make believe league for €100M and then choose whatever PL position he wants in 24 months. It's not a lifetime commitment.
That's £27M less than €50M.
No one in major football is starving. But there's different levels of rich, and banking €100M (and tax free) in 2 years is a completely different financial level than managing in the PL.
