Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I’d forgotten about the fucking Poch diamond, why did you have to remind me! He was obsessed with it even when it was not working for months.

I think an awful lot of people would either be severely disappointed to recall the last 2 season under Poch if he came back, or would be like this ange cult and be feeding off the 'vibes' whilst ignoring the reality. There was the diamond, no subs until the 86th minute, waiting months before giving a signing a game saying he was "not ready", tell us all he was 'berry habby' with the performances after watching us capitulate, telling the media the squad wasn't good enough to win anything etc. he had one trick and it got sussed out eventually. It's more 'fresh' for me cos I stopped posting on here around the time other teams figured him out.

If there's one positive I can say about ange, his complete obliviousness about the reality of his tactics showed that winning a cup is 90% telling them they can do it, and 10% talent. Probably why we didn't score a single goal in a cup final under poch

No. But then that has nothing at all to do with what SausageVince SausageVince posited - which is literally being played out on my spurs chat right now as all the teenagers are starting to realise Ange is almost certainly going and can't understand it.

Like I said - do you know actual real people?
What a stupid thing to say!

I have three children and several Spurs supporting friends and not one thinks we should keep Ange because they can see the downward trajectory we’ve been on the last 18 months and they all realise that the trophy doesn’t unlock some cheat code that makes us unbeatable going forward. They all think if Ange stays he’ll be gone by Christmas and we’ll be scrabbling around for a manager mid season and that always goes well doesn’t it?! 🙄

There’s a reason children don’t make important decisions and are classed as minors until the age of 18 and are guided by their parents, so yes it’s a stupid analogy!

The top 4 is really a top 2-3, then 3-8 now. And CL is top 5. No reason we shouldn't aim for CL in the league finish.

Only if Ange is gone of course. He's shown no ability to sustain winning in this league outside of the first 10 games.

The Poch era shattered when a transfer embargo was imposed upon him by his chairman, not a second before and not a second after.

We didn’t win away for a year too of course. But he did have to play winks and fucking sissoko in midfield. Squad was on its arse and it was amazing it managed to get itself to a champions league final.

I was one who wanted Poch gone that next season but it was less to do with what was on the pitch.

Yeah mate his specialism is the biggest cup in European football which is a little bit different - the champions league stands alone above all other cups.

And his sides aren’t bad in the league either. If he finished 17th at Madrid and won the CL he would be sacked too.

It’s your opinion.

Cups matter ; like I said Bill Nic won seven for us ( with one League title ) .

Cups ; especially for a Club who hadn’t won anything in 17 years and who won their second of two League titles sixty-five years ago ; matter a lot to many of us . What’s wrong with that .

I apologise. I guess I must have somehow missed all of those kids thinking that because I've not met a single one who does think that before or after the Final.

Which doesn't mean they don't exist of course. Just that I somehow missed it in 7 straight days of being amongst tens of thousands of Spurs fans.

The adults are very much split of course. But I didn't meet a single kid under 20 who wasn't Ange In after that trophy. But you're right - no decision should be made on that basis. (and won't be)

Nice melt.

Are the "cultists" in the room with you right now? Can you show us on the doll where they touched you?

Lol 4 days in Spain, 2 in Bilbao, back for parade and final game on the weekend. Never met anyone who ranted about "cultists". Not one. WTF is wrong is you? :roflmao:
and i didn't say shit for a week either. you think you're going to run into a bunch of ange out talk while we're partying? again, the first post after the whistle here was one of you cunts rubbing our noses in it saying, "where the ange outers now?" since the beginning you lot are the fucking problem here blasting anyone who points out the problems as secret gooners and incels and vermin and anyting else you can pull out of your ass to attack and deflect. you're a miserable embarrassment and i'll party again when you and the fat cunt fuck off for good.

Sissoko gets unfair stick - he was excellent that season, and was rarely ever played in that position in prior seasons. Spent his first few being forced to be out on the wing when he didn't have the skill set for it.

Winks was just some kind of weird Poch pet. As per my other post, if he'd have said yes to Maddison or Tielemens then that midfield might have actually worked

A good test for this madness for anyone with young children:

Try explaining to a child that the club is about to fire the guy who delivered our first European trophy in over forty years and our first meaningful trophy since 1991. Tell them it's to do with league performance and hamstrings and shit like that. Go on.

Then listen to how fucken unhinged you sound
No I’d explain that
In 2024/25 we got 38 points
In 2023/24 we got 40 points ( after he was figured out after ten games)
In 2025/26 we are praying for Leeds to be shite so we don’t get relegated!

I fully get it , the majority of the football was garbish, I’m just worried what it says when we sack our most successful manager if the last 20 or so years , my worry is we go back to the top 4 never winning anything.
We're much more likely to win things if we're a steadfast top 4 club because that means we're a really good team! Europa and 17th is an absolute once in a lifetime anomaly.

they're fucking liars and the fact that they have to exaggerate and make shit up says it all. i wept at the whistle and partied for 3 days. i'll never forget it and i feel differently about winning things now than i did before. however, it was still a final between two teams in the basement of their league who played hobbits on the way to the final in a diminished competition that's only going to look shittier and shittier with each passing year. we're fortunate to get it in the first year of the new format as it will be worth less and less every year.

fuck off cultists. you won't be missed. talk about wanting my tottenham back. i've never experienced a group of fellow supporters turn their guns inward like this crew in my life. it's a sickness. we used to just talk about football
Can garauntee you every team that wins that cup is going to love it up.

And will look back in the cabinet and will all point to it (them) when prodding fans of other clubs and call on their European Heritage.

That's how it works, mate.

We've won 3 of them now and I love them all the same.

And if we win more, that same love will be extended.

But still, yes, Ange inners are cultists and The Butcher absolutely needs to do one.

We are disregarding false bullshit peddled by the club to save Levy's blushes, that's correct

Incredibly really that the club somehow convinced the international media of that including the belgian press

"And the board of Tottenham wanted to rent Tielemans with a purchase option. Only manager Pochettino was not convinced. And so it will be Leicester after all, where he can form a tandem with Ndidi (ex-Genk)."

Also the reporters close to Monaco too.

Sources at Monaco claim Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is willing to sanction the move and is now just waiting on the green light from manager Mauricio Pochettino.

how can any cup won by 16th and 17th place teams be something to crow about? i get how it works but with the new format this is what it's going to become. sure fans will love to win but it's going to be league cup level and you don't nuke a season for that or claim it makes relegation form ok.

"One of you cunts"?

Can you please show me a post where I've done anything like what you accuse me of? You'll struggle because it never happened.

What I have said is that cunts who called the manager a "fat cunt" went too far. And I stand by that. And I've slated those who dumped on the Trophy. But I've never once had a go a someone simply for wanting Ange Out. In fact most of the best conversations I've had on here have been with "Ange outers" because some of them, unlike you, are capable of presenting well reasoned and passionate arguments that demand respect.

And in my spurs group I'm the most "ANGE OUT" of the lot.

Just because you're a coward who parties when Ange wins but too scared to say what you really think unlike many good people on here - that's not a "me" problem its a "you" problem. most proper Spurs fans are able to hold two competing thoughts/feelings and articulate them to other Spurs fans.

So please, kindly, fuck off until you can make accusations you can back up with evidence.

Isn't there a lot being written about nothing happening?

Kids are driven by emotion (that’s why they need guidance) and it was the most emotional of experiences for all Spurs fans, old and young alike, so I can understand why some people want him to stay.

However when you break it down logically, IMHO it’s not the correct decision for the club.
