were the ones that really sold Varela to me. Has better progressive passing stats than Hjulmand or Zubimendi, but also weaker defensive stats. I wouldn't hate the signing, but think he's more of a straight swap for Betancur....not really the DM we need.I'd be happy with Florentino Luis, as well. He's actually the most defensive of the 3.
Out of the 3, one of those is probably going to be great, one is going to be serviceable, and one will be shit. If I had to bet, honestly, I think Luis will be the best of the crop.
I trust us to sign the shit one, of course.

I wouldn't say no to having him as an option, but he's not someone that's gonna revolutionize a midfield that hasn't thrived for years now.

After watching PSG and especially Vitinha there was some new-found love for the game. Not a lot of Vitinha's out there and only name I can think of that comes remotely close, probably unrealistic, is Marc Casado at Barcelona. Then again, they could probably be tempted considering their finances and the fact they are pretty stacked in that area (or at least will be if they sign Partey on a free). Would probably be impossible to convince Casado himself
