He really wasn't. he just wasn't the utter dogshit that Sissoko was.
He really hasn't. He's been at best, as consistently in and out of form. And that's the story of his career, in which even his best form is only a mediocre player.

Not been good enough for a long time, needs upgrading more than any other position on the pitch IMO, no tragedy if he goes.
"Future captain" is fucking petrifying.
I completely disagree so not much else to say really. He really wasn't. he just wasn't the utter dogshit that Sissoko was.

No one was consistent under Ange because he was a shite manager with shite tactics, can you understand that? He's such a frustrating player. We know how good he can be and how he can quietly control the midfield but his inconsistency means that surely we can upgrade on him in the summer. We might not get a player with a ceiling as high as his but i would take a player who puts in 7/10 performances regularly over someone who puts in a 9/10 every 7 or 8 games with a load of 5/10 in between
Pretty patronising end to that reply no?No one was consistent under Ange because he was a shite manager with shite tactics, can you understand that?
I think it's a case of waiting to see what Frank gets out of him. Out of all of them really. We know Bentancur can be excellent. Is there more consistency to be found in his performance? Time will tell.Pretty patronising end to that reply no?
Some players had been consistent when they weren't run into the ground by Ange. Bentancurs inconsistency predated Ange. By the sounds of it we'll likely be keeping him but we can improve on him IMO
I get that mate but for me he's been here long enough and hasn't shown it consistently. Hopefully if he does stay he proves doubters wrong but I would be worried going into new season if we're relying on as a main starterI think it's a case of waiting to see what Frank gets out of him. He did have the injury where he was out for the year. I've often wondered if he ever actually made a full recovery.I get that mate but for me he's been here long enough and hasn't shown it consistently. He also had an ACL injury and those are usually described as "2 year recoveries". 1 year to just get physically fit. Then another to just get comfortable/not scared about relying on that knee again. No one was consistent under Ange because he was a shite manager with shite tactics, can you understand that?
He's not the most mobile player and Angeball asked for an excessive degree of mobility from his position, I'd back him to be one of the most improved under Frank. He's a really technically sound footballer, I think he's underappreciated.
