Anyone actually believing it was Thomas Frank that stated he really wants to sign Tel needs their head examined.

It's like the same shit happens again and again and fans fall for the same shit all the time. Signing him makes it less likely we sign the proven player we so desperately need.
The amount of people that were calling for Tyer fucking Dibling at one point was actually quite scary. I get why Levy continuously does it now when it's so easy to fool the fanbase.

a chance. He’s not pulled up tree with his performances but there’s flashes of what he could become. A full pre season under his belt under a different style with Frank then we might just have a gem on our hands. I'm not writing Tell off but he's not ready now. We are in the champions league now and last season showed we couldn't navigate numerous competitions.
We can't just sit around waiting for Tel to get ready.
Tel was signed in January, they need to base that decision on what they signed him for in January. Any decision on what we need for now is AFTER signing Tel and it’s blindingly obvious that even after Tel, we need a lefty RW and a replacement for Son… on top of Tel.
He’s got a nice touch and technique and makes difficult passes look easy.

More than anything I think this shows the dangers of YouTube scouting. You could easily cut a compilation of Tel in a Spurs shirt looking the absolute bits. Not sure this actually achieves it (some weird non-highlights in here) but it wouldn’t be too hard to make him or Odobert look mustard. Keep this in mind as all the new links pop up this summer.
I’m still more of a Tel believer than most just because I think Ange was a horrific forward coach, but he clearly has a lot of work to do.
