Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Serious club that's just won the EL and playing in the CL next season: Buys Mbeumo and Eze. Prem proven, ready to hit the ground running and immediately significantly upgrade us,

Tottenham under Levy: Buys a youngster who showed very little, if any, signs of genuine quality last season. COYS! :king:

So if Tel is definitely joining I think we need to see movement on Richarlison leaving (Everton ?) or maybe Son before we see another incoming forward.

Currently our forward options are Solanke, Johnson, Odobert, Tel and Moore (Yang almost certainly out on loan ?) ...... plus Son and Richarlison.
I can’t stand Johnson. I don’t think you can coach basic skills like dribbling and crossing into a player. But I guess we’re stuck with him. We need 2 new attackers and a striker if squad rules will allow it

Yep. It’s obvious this window is going to be worse than last summer, which will be an achievement in itself.

So, if we are looking for a right winger as in Mbuembo and we don't get him. Who are other options people like?
Bakayoko? Kubo? names we've been linked to in other transfer windows. Who you got in mind?

Judging Tel on the nonsense last season is pointless, as I keep saying every player was playing well below their levels, the boy needs nurturing, there's a talent in there.

I think Eze is significantly more useful against a low block defence, something which Mbuemo has rarely ever faced when playing for Brentford. I have real doubts that his playing style would translate directly when playing for Spurs as a lot of teams will let us have the ball and not have the space to run into like he does at Brentford.

Eze however is a very Spurs player in my mind, capable of the absolute highest quality and already an England international. I would stump up 60m for him in a heartbeat.
Eze is just so Spurs too.

Not excited by any of thr transfers thus far. It always seems to be the same every window I want us to get some proper players in
We will all be waiting a very long time.
Just have to accept it, under levy, tbe club isn't going to compete at the top for big prizes and players.
An occasional cup win is the ceiling, it should not need to be, but that's the stark reality of our club ambition level.
