Me mate. I think he’s nervous looking on the ball at times and slack as fuck with his passing.
So, not moved by the fact that Maddison spoke about the fact that he can ping passes into him in between the lines and expect him to control it? or hpw often he dribbles the entire pitch then plays a perfect 1-2?
Every player should be able to control a pass. It’s a pre requisite of being a footballer. You can’t hype a player up because he can control it. I never see him dribbling the whole length of the pitch and play a 1-2. He has no end product either from a cross,pass or finish.
Sure but some do it better than others. Otherwise anyone could play CM
There’s fucking loads of examples of Udogie dribbling the pitch and playing 1-2s.
He can’t/doesnt cross the ball. Thats the only technical knock he has
I agree as a conventional left back or wing back but he’s like a fish up a tree when he goes in the pitch.

I actually think he’s pretty good defensively, it’s in an attacking sense he’s a bit crap.
He struggles beating a man on the outside and his crossing is very poor.
