Manager The Sack Race

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

A sacked manager first has just happened.

Over the weekend, Greek club Panetolikos sacked their manager Giannis Petrakis... On the same day that his son Giorgios got sacked from another Greek club, Larissa.

First time ever that a father and son has been sacked on the same day from two different clubs.

I don't get what's happened to Chris Coleman, at one point he was considered a good manager, and did well with Wales national team, now he doesn't even get a mention. Has he migrated to Greece or something, he's the manager of a mid table Greek team, surely he can get a better gig than that.

Apparently their stadium capacity is 7,423.

Some managers are just better suited for national team football IMO.

Too busy pounding that sky sports presenter

There’s a report that the maniac at Forest is considering sacking Ange and Dyche is waiting in the wings. On one hand, I think we all knew it would be a disaster there, but on the other hand the guys is just unbalanced.

In keeping with the international break .

JDT had a reverse- Midas effect on the Swedish team . The Swedish FA had to act .

It would be a great job for Potter imo ; he’s still very highly regarded in Sweden ( having done what he did at Östersund ) and it would get him out of the club scene whilst the recent damage to his reputation blows over . And it is far from impossible that , with a turnaround in form , Sweden could still qualify for the WC via the Nations League’s play-off route , thus giving him a quick shot at redemption .

Potter has actually told the Swedish press that he would be open for it this time around. He was previously approached before JDT took over but he was still collecting checks from Chelsea so he said no.
