So you want to sack him now?We gave the last manager time and it was a disaster. The same is happening now. Two shite appointments and you can't just stick by someone, because. This is modern football, it's not the 90's. Managers come and go.

It will improve over time, but perhaps not fast enough for some. For me I am more realistic- the club did not outfit this squad properly, and we've been massively overrated by our own fans. There's a lot of work to be done to develop these players yet, and we're basically back at the start of it all now. Patience! This what I've been complaining about. There's genuinely no rhythm to our play. No little quick one twos or little patterns, that most PL players can do, and players here have done. So one dimensional. It's really crap.
It's getting worse by the game too. 5 months now and it looks like they've never played together. For all the crying about Deki and Madders, we replaced them with £110m on two players, that loads here wanked themselves dry over, but now we're missing them massively. This form can't decide if the hate or love Deki either, but since he's down, he's the most important player ever. It's just nonsense. It's really crap, it's not going to get better. Just have to buckle through it.
So, in summary, Frank has a bloody impossible job on his hands. I see tiny fragments of potential progress. That’s probably all we can realistically hope for right now. He needs time, money and resources we may not even have. But I’ll keep the faith and back the man for now. God knows what the alternative is.…………….this is indeed the scenario we gave Ange two seasons some were gonna give him 3 !!!!!!!Thomas Frank has far more ideas than him
Yeah Odobert has some good qualities and is a talented prospect but that's it - he's a prospect. A 20 year old kid with 6 goals and 4 assists in English football. And he's currently the first choice left winger for a team with CL aspirations...Honestly if finish top 8 this season and have a decent cup run somewhere that should be seen as a massive improvement from Ange ball 17thdom.
If we don't make a massive move for a LW this winter, we'll all seriously need to cut Frank some slack- we'll just not be competitive as the other top clubs and there'll be no debating about that.
I think there needs to be acknowledgement that if things don't change, that could be a possibility. It can't go on like this. We play like this against the teams we have coming up and we're going to get thrashed. Getting thrashed and playing like that will get the match going fans upset, and the board have said they want to win, they can't say one thing and do another of they want the fans to believe their shpeal.
We're about to start losing the majority of our games. We should've lost most of them so far, but we're not playing the relegation certs anymore. Once performances match results, we're in diffs. And it's only trending down as opposed to up. Plays don't look into this what so ever.No no it is not, what it is, is the after math of 20+ years of Levy.
You are jsut going to have to suck it up and be greatful we are not losing the majority of the games like we was last season.
Feck, I would love us to play like peak Barcelona, but that is never going to happen, we don't have the players or the squad depth. We have just three new additions to the team so far, that barely was able to make two passes without giving the ball away...
It's going to be horrible, and till we can start making changes, and what frank has has shored us up, so we are not leaking 2-3 goals every fecking game.
But every now and then, we see a little of what we can be in the future, you just have to be patient and understand where we are as club and chill, other wise your going to be dribbling in the corner in a mental hospital.
Frank works as much on attacking as Ange did on defense and set pieces.Agree- we don’t even play basic give and gos down the flanks. Our attacking play appears as if hardly any work has been done on it.
Hum hum...Monaco been very poor so far this season. And yet we made them look like Brazil from that 1970 World Cup.One second they complain the squad is garbage, to much mediocrity and players that need to be sold, the attack has zero bite to it... Then next minute, they berate a manager who can't perform miracles with a shit show of squad.
It as much hilarious as it is embarrassing.
If you have a manager the is eking out results with a shit show, he is probably doing a good job.
Yeah, we got a draw from Monaco and the performance was not the greatest by any stretch of the imagination, but Monaco is no pony, we had a rough opponent, but we still got a point out of it and remain unbeaten.
Spot on.The money we are spending is not the real issue, it's the fact that we just target shit, and pay over the odds for it. That's the bigger issue for me, and hopefully the CEO and everyone else, can spend that money and more a little bit more wisely, and where we need it.

You're being a bit of a drama queen.Listen, of there was some decent football, like a light at the end of the tunnel id be happy. But this is completely unacceptable. Man for man, minus Akliouche, we had better player than Monaco, but they utterly dominated us. That was their managers first game, but he has them ticking.
Our players that were there before have all been in sides that could play quick, snappy football. This style, for want of a better word, is laborious, stodgy, predictable and so easy to play against. We're getting carved up nearly every game, so the "hard to beat" nonsense isn't really a factor.
This is getting worse by the game. That was the one win in the next month or so I seen us getting, but another load of crap was served up. Of we don't get a win in our next 5 games or so, which I really can't see, is it time for alarm bells? We're actually no better off against teams we faced last season, which is shocking.
Your not wrong at all.
Coming here and reading half the stuff, just makes my braincells commit suicide.
I get it, if by Christmas next year, we are still playing like a donkey on crack, then yeah, questions need to be raised, depending on circumstances.
But lets see what happens in the windows and where we are as club, it's going to take time, and as you say ENIC need to step up, and put not just their money, but their wisdom, and not spunk money up the tree, on a lot mediocre crap.

Not to make this about Ange, but for all his failings I do think getting the returns he did out of Johnson was kind of miraculous - and it was largely done by focusing so much of our attack around creating cut-backs. I'd wager like 60-70% of his goals and assists at Spurs have been from scoring or assisting cut-backs.Our model has clearly been about spending reasonable to high fees on players who look likely to breakout soon. They're typically on, and demand lower wages than a bonafide superstar.
It generally hasn't been working.
Romero, Spence, maybe Porro have cemented their place in the first team.
Bergvall and Sarr might.
Not sure about Gray, Tel, Odobert at all.
I think given the sheer number of goals, it's harsh that Johnson gets so much flack, when players who offer so much less get away with it.
