The season's theme seems to be long throws and set-pieces.

- Man U (A) - won 0-1 ( But they were lucky and at a time when United were shit)
- Leeds (H) - won 5-0 (Against a team who are always poor away)
- Liverpool (A) lost 1-0 (And we now know that Dippers ain't all that)
- Forest (H) won 3-0 (Ange!!!)
- City (H) Drew 1-1 (And got a lucky last minute to scrape a draw, against a team we had already beaten 0-2 away)
- Newcastle (A) won 1-2 (Dead lucky to hang on - against 10 men!)
- Wet Spam (H) won 2-0 ( who we beat 3-0 away from home)
