See this is the issue. I don't care what you think about Frank, you habe a right to have an opinion. So why lie?

It's the lies and misrepresentation of what other posters say

And to me, that just makes you a scummy person.
Caren to share one those many points or??????

You've been butt hurt since the firstly day, I quite rightly, criticised him and you went way over the line. And now your playing little hurt kid.

You are a scumbag.

Independence Day Hello GIF
Directly... into... the sin bin 😂

Crazy to think the scums last two managerial hires have been Emery and Arteta. Basically hired two of the best coaches around.

Emery didn't work out but he is clearly a world class manager and so they actually profiled correctly, and then they brought in Arteta who sad to say has been a revelation for them.

Vinai did arteta but did he do emery too?

I think people had identified arteta as a good coach before then. I remember Poch wanting to get him to join his staff while arteta was at Man City. I don’t think Vinai can be made out to be a genius with getting arteta, it was more persuading others at the scum to take a chance on him.

Don't think we will get any points at Bournemouth, and I feel it will be Frank's last game as a result. If any, the sacking wind across UK may have hastened the decision. Also, feel like rumours of new incoming players seem to quieten down abit, hopefully is a sign that any movements will only happen depending who is coming in, be it a caretaker or permanent post.

But whatever, just want him gone quick and get the dressing room more motivated.

It’s easy to be a revelation when you spend a billion pounds. What’s he won, though, with that billion spend?

There is room for improvement, but even the improved version most likely wouldn't be something fundamentally different than this.

This is my point all throughout, even at his best - he's just not Spurs.

I think this is what people who are just blaming players seem to miss.

It doesn't matter the players, he's always this manager

Yeah, and if you put a positive spin on Frank's CV you can imagine how Levy, Vinai & co fed themselves a narrative that he ticks those boxes: likeable guy, good communicator, improves players, massively overachieves his budget, strong on set-pieces, blah blah blah. Given the way the game's going I bet they thought he could be our Arteta. And I'm sure in his interview he came across well and sold them a dream of attacking football and how he could upscale what he learned at Brentford to a club like Spurs.

Alas turns out he really doesn't seem capable of leveling up to a bigger club and rather seems to be dragging us down to Brentford's level. He lacks the charisma and winning mentality demanded of an elite manager and that's something that can't be learned on the job.

I convinced myself he could do a Poch, could step up and grow into the role.

And if have loved him to! But I agree, he doesn't have it.

I won't hold that against the club, fair play for giving him a shot - I'd like us to retain that possibility

I've always said, the "right" manager isn't necessarily biggest name or highest profile ...

Owners need to start putting in clauses in contracts to protect from what Frank and Amorim are doing basically saying they won't quit so they can get their handsome severance despite their performance not being good enough.

Something like you only get your full severance if sacked with a certain average point gain or win percentage.

I like the idea. Although recently clubs have just put people on gardening leave as well, cheaper to just pay their wages until they get a new job....

If he goes soon (he should) it'll be Villa. Out of the cup and with a week between games

(Tbh I also predicted he would go after Sunderland when I anticipated the crowd turning)

I assume Frank is not a fool, he & the coaches must see its not working, so why doesn't he try a different system 352 or 343
I don't think he knows HOW to change it.
Look at Sunderland, first half was his best shot imo - and while we enjoyed it a lot more than any of the football this season it wasn't actually great was it?

Mate you abused the fuck out of people treating Frank the same way you treated the last manager. Personally I think everyone should stop abusing people for supporting whoever is in charge of spurs (while they are in charge) but you can't dish it out then cry when others do exactly what you do.

There's a word for that.

Nowt Frank can do about Muani’s poor touch through on goal. If the players at your disposal can’t control the ball….

Nowt Frank can do about Richarlison’s poor decision making and not making the pass sooner to Oderbert or other forwards in better positions.

Or….can Frank coach these players into releasing the ball sooner? Practice the first touch with a ball zipping across the box?

I recall Ange saying they worked a lot on Johnson arriving into the right positions at the right time. They worked a lot on getting the balls in, without looking up.

If you have to work with what you have (which we do), I think it’s a coaching issue for sure. Surely, the entire coaching team should be coaching those patterns of play in the final third? Given, attacking is the big issue. Creating chances.

This is it for me

Shit players or great players, the coach has fixed resource to work with and has to do the best he can with them

Teams with lower quality squads play better football than us, because they're coached better and set up better

Up at Newcastle in the 2-2 I saw that Johnson when he was playing on the left took his FB on a couple of times and beat him and put in decent crosses with his left peg. That looked like he'd been working on it.

The best wingers are the 2 footed ones, a FB just doesn't know which way they'll go. Drives me up the wall when a commentator says "oh that chance came on his wrong foot". They've been doing nothing but playing footie since they were able to walk and they can't be arsed to make sure they don't have a "wrong foot"

Robertson at Forest good example. Ginola too. He could take corners right and left footed.

Rant over.

That's it in a nutshell. People can go on about the squad not being good enough all day long (it isn't for where we want to be) but it's better than most of the squads outside the top 6.

Managers like Emery get more than the sum of their individual parts in terms of what they're working with.

Frank is making us worse, all the attacking metrics support this.

This is not the sign of good coaching, it's the polar opposite.

Even if our performances were indifferent and you could see some progress in our attacking play, some weeks, you'd afford him more patience.

And his demeanor and communication is so negative is it any wonder that his team reflects his personality.

We all know this isn't going to work.

I’m honestly surprised he’s done nothing to reverse things now. Just pootling along getting no better. I think he’s under no pressure from above either as that would lead them to admitting their own failures.
