Last season, without defenders, our defence was shit.
This season, without attackers, our attack is shit.

things eye GIF

And both seasons we haven’t played with a midfield either!

Good post mate.

Tomorrow, simply play 4-4-2 or 3-5-2. An aggressive 3-5-2.

Go for it.
its shocking that these managers dont try different things when it clearly isnt working. isnt that what being a manager is meant to be about? why are they all trying to copy each other? even if he tried a completely different formation and we lost, at least its something fresh. persisting with the same system with players that are clearly not capable of playing it, is just painful viewing. beef the midfield up and try a different approach, that will be exciting.

id rather watch the likes of gray and bergvall try and link up and play clever little 1-2s than watch kudus and whoever on the left is, get the ball and do sweet fuck all! try and play through the middle more! 2 strikers staying central, a cam, and 2 box to boxers... far more interesting and entertaining than the shit weve been served up. porro can whip a ball in from deep anyway, obviously we dont have that on the left yet, hopefully this brazilian kid can serve up.

If tomorrow the crowd becomes vociferous towards him, and the chants of "you don't know what you're doing" ring out.. I'll feel really sorry for him. The same way that I really felt for Nuno when it happened to him..

But I don't think that's a good sign.

It might seem retrograde, but in my minds eye, when I picture a scenario of Pochettino, Conte, Redknapp, Jose or even Ange recieving those chants. I don't think my heart would go out to them to quite the same degree.. Because I'd just feel like, "They'll be ok. They can shoulder it." Managers like that just seem like they've got big enough shoulders to cope with the venom that being at a big club can bring.
