the second clip was class, he needs to be doing that more often. thats top class midfield play.Those, and a few others, from today were fine plays
Still more of an overpaid utility player than an actual high upside prospect for me, but probably deserves his fair shot in a better functioning team...

all clips display why he is a CM, passing, dribbling and tackling...everything you need to be a good midfielder.
hell get more confident with age, the ability is there.

He got a sore one tackling Soucek bout 35 in
Was on full stretch with outside of foot to block a Soucek cross.
Great block but he felt the force of Soucek following through ball and onto his right foot.
Did well to play on till half time as he was feeling it.
Since he's joined, he's been played all over the pitch and in stops and starts because of our abysmal recruitment and the managers. Our midfield is such a mess and isn't giving him the opportunity to develop with more settled and experienced players around him.

was good tonight. still would like to see him be braver at times, he has the ability. was good to see him square up on the sideline too.
He's 19 , give him time and another couple of seasons and he will very good .
He cannot spot a diagonal pass, or doesn't fancy himself converting one even under the most favourable circumstances. I don't know which is worse.
This has nothing to do with Frank either; as managers like him who prefer more direct football would welcome such no-risk-nonzero-reward passes.
Discouraging to say the least.
