But the current owners have had two weeks in this Jan window to bring in players...

Everything you pointed out there was Levy.

The Owners have not changed. Levy and Lewis family trust still own ENIC.

Levy was Chairman - he did not make all the decisions as people seem to think. Everything has to be approved by the board - including transfer funds, salary caps and coaching appointments.

There was a reshuffle of the board

Cullen and Levy Out

Peter Charrington - former CEO of CITIBANK
Vinai - former Woolwich CEO

My gut feeling is that a hostile takeover is happening - with both parties wanting to buy out the other. Levy with a consortium from Qatar; and the Lewis family trust wanting full control.

SPURS sacked a guy that loves the club (LEVY) and replaced him with an ARNSENAL CEO. - The supporters trust was so obsessed with protesting Levy; they have sold out to the devil.

Levy loved the money it made him and that it was his little fiefdom where he was the sole ruler because his buddy Joe let him do whatever he wanted as long as it made him money.

Simples.

You said our team was Top 5 last week.

I maintain, the squad is top 5. When we had Kane, Son, Dele etc.... there were also huge weaknesses. Rose, Mason, Winks, Skipp, Lamela, Sissoko, Nkoudu, Njie, Fazio, Foyth, Reggie etc..

We have a squad of players now that are all capable - but not anyone that is exceptional. And I'd argue that there are very few exceptional players in world football at the moment - just a lot of hype and marketing.

Yes, Spurs front 3 options aren't exceptional, but does any team in the Prem have a good front 3 at the moment?

Spurs were carried for a long time by exceptional players in Kane and Son. Those players don't exist anymore - you can't buy them - so the approach has to change. Ange made Spurs to scorers in the league (scoring more than we did WITH Kane) - and he did this by spreading the goals around the entire squad - not relying on a focal point goal scorer. All of the players were goal threats.

When they kicked Levy out, rejected all offers to buy the club, and stuck their chests out claiming they want to take the club levels up months ago, you would expect such talk would be followed by getting CEO, Paratici, Lange and all scouts out, asked them the top 5 targets on our dream transfer list and instruct them to have at least 3 deals of these done by January 1 no matter how much they would cost.

Or, once the results started to go the way that is not as good as they claim to want to see, and someone like Xabi Alonso became available, draw a blank check and have him name his price and get him in ASAP.

What do we get instead????? same ol, same ol ^%$#$* we've been served for the last 25 years.

ENIC needs to go, I don't want another manager, I don't want new CEO, I don't want new FD, I don't want new players.

All I want is for ENIC to GET THE F*** OUT OF OUR LIVES. FOR EVER!!!!!!

Don't you ever get bored posting shite ?

Don't you ever get bored posting shite ?

Lets spell it out.

Levy and Cullen - 2 lifelong Spurs fans, replaced by a Banker, and Woolwich's CEO.

Peter Charrington specialized in Mergers and Acquisitions. One report explicitly notes that he is “not a football guy at all” and has never followed the sport. He lives on Joe Lewis's estate in the Bahamas.

They have been appointed to maximize the investment portfolio of the club, grow stadium event revenues and force a sale of Levy's stake in ENIC.

They have no interest in selling.

What do people not understand about that? Its not that they're thick and think they club is worth more than it is.

They've said it about a dozen times now. The club isn't for sale. I know we all wish they would - but they aren't.
I know, pal. Just wishful thinking really on my part.

Makes you wonder, don't it...how can anyone turn down 4 or 5 bn?!

Embarrassing

Levy loves the club? Pfft.

He constantly shortchanged the club, supporters and its managers, if thats love then god knows what he’d have done if he hated Spurs.

Money men with no real football knowledge is the problem here.

What are we as a club? Serious top six side? A Borussia Dortmund? or an expensive version of West Ham?

They collectively have no idea and it shows badly.
