Easy window - just think V

Sod off Frank, hello Ernesto Valverde - out of contract this summer, ton of experience and winning mentality. Give him 20m a season.

Vini Jr - 80m +Romero and 500k a week wages - left wing sorted
Vitinha - 125m and 300k a week wages - deep playmaking midfielder
Verbruggen - 45m and 125k a week wages - fuck off Vicario
Vuskovic - bring into the mix to replace Romero and make him captain

Now this is what ambition looks like

All those V's will equate to a whole lot of Ws

You really think this is possible?

In the last 4 transfer windows we have signed 5 senior players over 20 years of age. Solanke, Danso, Kudus, Simons and Gallagher.

5 players for a team that has suffered a black death style injury crisis for 2 years solid and who finished 17th and had CL football.

So anyone expecting a massive splurge on 7 or 8 proper players i'd prepare yourselves for dissapointment.

Bah...humbug

Its okay, folks...we could lose Romero, Micky, Vusko and Bergvall...then sign nobody and harry7 will still tell us it was a very, very good window and that we're going for the CL title.

Thing is about our big players wanting to leave, a club has to actually bid what he's worth to us

I feel like every year on this forum their are people that fantasize about us selling all of our starters then get angry about their own make belief situations

No excuses or cheap punts this summer. We need 4 or 5 top players that can come into our Starting 11 and immediately raise the level.

GK - Pickford - Bit of a knob, but he’s a good keeper, much better with his feet than Vic, he’s a leader and has like 10+ years Prem experience which would make me a bit more comfortable than going for someone like Verbruggen or Roefs. Wouldn’t be gutted at either of them though.

LB - Depends how Udogie is for fitness between now and the end of the season. If he keeps fit, I wouldn’t entirely be against Robertson as an experienced player that can step in. If he keeps breaking down though, I’d be looking for a more permanent long term option. Nathaniel Brown or Antonee Robinson would be my choices.

DM - We can’t go another summer without signing a midfielder that can pass the fucking ball. Wharton obviously would be the dream, but if he’s available we won’t be the only ones in for him. I think Gallagher & Sarr’s legs would enable us to sign Angelo Stiller for that role. I’d also be inclined to keep Palhinha given the price, he’s not brilliant on the ball, but he has his uses in certain games.

RW - Depends on if/how Kulusevski comes back. If he’s finished, we need to replace him. Akliouche is the obvious option. Looks similar to Kulu, if a bit less physical, but a better passer.

LW - We need a star player in this position, I don’t think there’s many out there. The one for me would be Yan Diomande, he looks absolutely mustard. Young, but one that I think can go on to be one of the very best wingers on the planet.

ST - Seems as if we’re very keen on Aghehowa, I can kinda see why, not a guaranteed hit, but the striker market is barer than it’s ever been. The Dream would be Kane coming back, but that’s more of a pipe dream. I reckon Marmoush will look to leave City if he doesn’t get more game time, which let’s face it, he won’t with Haaland, Semenyo, Doku & Cherki ahead of him.

In terms of outgoings, we need a big cull this summer. At a minimum I’d bin:

Vicario
Dragusin
Bissouma
Richarlison
Bentancur
Davies
Kolo Muani
Solomon

Hopefully with a new manager in place, we can start to address the squad, and yes, I know you cannot do it all one window, but these are the player who I think we should sell, don;t care if they are sold, or if we are really not going to give them a proper chance, then move them on, and if they end up being an 80 million player, then that is punishment for being so shit at managing player and spotting talent.

Romero - World class player are consistent, and the only thing he is consistent at is his switch off's and fuck ups, and a walking liability.
VdV - If he doesn't want to play for the club, sell him and don't fuck about, reinvest in bringing 2x quality LCB's
Davies - Great servant, but needs to move on
Bentancur - Just not good enough now
Bissouma - Needs to go
Vicario - Good shot stopper, but a walking cluster-fuck
Dorrington - How man RCB do actually need, and we probably wont give him a chance.
Dragusin - Unless he seriously improves after his injury, needs to go
Kulu - People forget how shit this one trick pony is out on the wings, and wasn't much better in the middle, constantly made the wrong decisions and held onto the ball for far to long.
Maddison - Another massive injury, been injured quite a lot, probably wont be the same player, move him on. Tired of hanging on to injury prone players, just because being nice.
Richarlison - Injury prone, and most of the time, shit.
Philips - Either give him a chance or feck him off as just bloat otherwise.
Solomon - Thought he was okay when he played, but injury and other things, sell, we just need better.
Tel - Reports he didn't want to play here, sell him that is case, and not bothered if do sell him anyway.
Udogie - Seems to have lost a yard of pace after his injury, so not bothered if we sold him. Need a better LB anyway, Souza is going to be a few years away.
Devine - If he is not going to get a chance move him on, would rather we did give him a chance though.
Veliz - Should have given him a chance, but if we are not sell him on, big shame. Seems to know where the goal is, and always gives 100%... That fucking injury man.
Odobert - Not fussed if he is sold, but he is improving and that is only a good thing.
Donely - Another one, give the guy a chance and see where he is at, if not move him on.
Paulinha - An actual DM, 50/50 some game great, some games poor, but him and Bents playing together is just a cluster fuck.
Muani - Fuck him off too.

21 players, who are just not good enough, injury prone and probably wont reach their best again, or players who will never get a chance... This is what Levy has left us.

How do Bournemouth Brentford and Brighton continuously sell their best players yet bounce back on miniscule budgets.

If any of those owners had our budget, this club would be winning champions leagues.

After Lange's video yesterday, the club have no excuses not to have a NET spend of £200m+ and to get several first team upgrades in BEFORE pre-season starts. If we're into August and nothing has changed us fans (inc. season ticket holders) should simply boycott all games.
