Bad attitude then why have we still got a bunch of players regularly starting with bad attitudes. Fuck if it saves us from going down I don’t mind having a player lookman if can score and assist.

Lookman's exactly the type of signing 'sensible' clubs are moving away from - older, attitude issues, higher wages, no re-sale.

He's also exactly the type of panic buy a club in a relegation battle makes to keep them up. He's proven at a high level, peak age, can slot straight in etc. Not to mention he's best off the left - a position where we're gagging for a proven goalscorer. And this is a team that badly needs goals. Long term he'd likely be a hindrance but short term he's ideal.

Lange and Vinai took a colossal risk in Jan. They basically just acted like it was business as usual and reacting to the situation by sacking Frank and/or making panic buys was beneath them - something 'impatient' clubs would do. Even Levy, for all his sins, would've seen the writing on the wall and acted.

Could go down as one of the most infamous mistakes at a top club in modern history if it sees us relegated.

Compounding the issue could be worse. He's happy at Atleti, he's motivated, they're doing well, challenge for things. He could've came here, we're a dumpster fire, we're not set up well, he's never getting the chances he's getting there, he sees the rest of the team slack off and he could well have came and picked up a paycheck. That shit doesn't fly with Simeone.

If we could've got him on a loan for the rest of the year, all day, but as you sau, we already have lots of bad apples. Adding more is a big gamble. We don't know how it would've went here, could've been good, could've been awful.

We need a cultural reset here, he's not one I'd like to be a part of that culture going forward. And for me, there's just too much noise from every club (Atleti excluded), and internationally, about his conduct for there not to be issues.

But anyway, each to their own.

It's classic galaxy brained logic of not wanting to take a risk in January despite us being bang in the shit and needing something, anytting to get us out of it.

The idiot said that we don't want to panic when it was the exact time to fucking panic, the clown doesn’t understand squad building, doesn’t know when to pull the trigger, and doesn’t seem capable of making a bold call when it matters, but yeah...we’ll just persist with Tel on the left because he’s a good lad and not 'toxic'

At this point, you’d think him and the fans who defend this crap actually want us flirting with relegation, absolute jokers.

I wonder if the real reason that we didn’t do anything in the last window was mostly down to the fact that we would have wanted to add a relegation reduced wage into the contracts . Obviously Gallagher got his 200kpw but I’m sure he’s got a release clause tied into it which most Spurs players don’t have.

Thinking like that just increases your chances of relegation. It like getting relegated then massively culling the squad to save money only to lose even more money because you don’t come back up. Fear driven thinking and a death spiral.

I .
Ironically in almost any other season it would be a smart approach - don't spaff money in an awkward market for short term gains.

Except this is the one time we bloody NEEDED to spaff money to not uber-fuck the entire club.

Made a meme but can't seem to upload the thing so: https://imgur.com/a/7YN03Js

No doubt Frank didn’t want him around because of his 'no dickhead policy', irony is that his hands off and lax man management has brought the worst out of some of these players and turned them into ill disciplined dickheads lol.

Lange backing Frank to the very last should get him kicked out the club for that alone.

I guess Harry Kane is a daft signing then.

I can save us.

From now on, the second we go behind in a game Richi comes on. He doesn’t start cause he’ll be shit, but as soon as we’re behind, doesn’t matter if there is 3 min left or 3 min into the game, he comes on.
