West Ham still strong favourites to go down @ 47.1%. Then Forest on 28.5%. Followed by us on ( a now reduced ) 14.1%. Leeds safest on 7% with Wolves & Burnley still to play.

If you bother to go back and look at the context, the poster wasn't saying they are the same as gamblers because they are crooked, he was implying that they make similar mistakes, i.e. that bookies effectively don't understand the relationship between the odds they offer, the actual estimated probabilities, and the impacts of the various outcomes (as most gamblers very obviously don't). Or did you take his post to mean that he thinks the bookies are going to somehow fix who gets relegated? Do you think that?
I do think that the more gambling has become a huge industry within football; the more bent and crooked it appears to those of us who are paying attention.
There is lots of match fixing evidence out there.

Yeah i've felt we were going down for the last 6 or 7 weeks, just the injuries and lack of effort but win next week, get a few players back and i think we should be ok. Massive bloody game next week though, biggest prem game in many a year.
