It is all about vision and smart recruitment. We are probably going down so the club should be planning for it (as well as if we stay up). Build the club around De Zerbi and his desired DoF. If/when he fucks off bring in another attacking manager who can work in a similar system.

I have no idea why Lange is still around. What does he actually do day to day? I bet he can't believe he is being paid so much to play minesweeper and sneak off to look at pornhub all day.

No it’s hard but the key will be the manager and the leadership. If we keep De Zerbi we have by far the best manager in that league not Steve G so we will have a football ‘Philosophy’. The other factor is retaining a core of good players after sales. Newcastle kept half their squad and came back, Villa sold everyone almost and spent 3 years. Keep De Zerbi and back him.

I hope your right .

The team next season could include Phillips, Donley, Devine, Lankshear, Moore etc who are already getting plenty of experience at that level or similar.

Along with Kinsky, Bergvall, Gray etc I think there is a bit of a plan here.

ENIC fucking love a low wage bill.

25 years says it is so.

We’ve only won 7 games in the league all season and haven’t won in 2026. And now we have to win a minimum of three of the last six most likely, to have a chance.

We’re as good as down. It just isn’t mathematically impossible for us to stay up…. Yet

Yeah that is the problem isn't it?

We are running out of games to get these wins and people somehow think we are going to get them with the number of available opportunities reducing. Unlike the players, I am not giving up yet, but yesterday was no different to all season. The players just dont want to seem to give one hundred and ten percent. It is the bare minimum yet again week after week.

We had to win yesterday. I though we would as Sunderland are terrible. But we couldnt even do that.

It is drifting away from us now for sure.

Sunderland are terrible

Are you sure about that?

This looks suspiciously like a controlled demolition to me.

These people have sold off the top goal scorers, for 3 consecutive seasons.

A 50% wage reduction guarenteed with relegation; should see off the remaining top earners, from an entity who have been progressively reducing the wage bill, and supporter expectation level, since 2019, while paying directors of the club more than double what the very best clubs, who actually win trophies consistently, pay while charging the highest ticket prices.

:gallashmm:

I'm no business guru but doesn't that sound like asset stripping?

It could be seen as that ; but equally it could just be rank incompetence.

I’m hoping that whatever happens ( and especially if we do go down) that our ownership will have to be a bit more open in terms of their plans for the Club .

Hope springs eternal, and all that .

I think so too.

Not so much because there isn't time but we are losing to teams that aren't that good, and I think that's mostly because we are so fragile, which is due to all the losses and because we just don't possess a single player who finds a moment. Not one.

There are a number of teams in the PL who arenot really any better than us but none are on our kind of run, so they have something to hold onto, and when they play is it's just too easy.

Confidence plays a huge part in all this and ours is at rock bottom, and nobody is seemingly able to change it.

Still however we have a bar of hope. Leeds tonight is a must lose on their part, and hopefully by 2 or 3 goals.

This lot have removed Levy and I'm assuming his share of ENIC and Spurs will be reduced in value if Spurs are relegated.

I doubt Levy will see it this way but; he now has no control, over how the football club is sustained, in respect of him being removed as chairman.

This looks more and more like internal ENIC bullshit to me.

They are fighting over how to divide up the plunder and Levy is powerless.

I blame Daniel Levy for all of this to be honest.

The people believing Levy could have saved us are clutching at straws.

Levy's stewardship of the club, since 2019, is the biggest reason Spurs are in this mess.

Levy always ran the club in line with his own personal interests.

I blame Joe Lewis for not sacking Levy at some point between him sacking Poch and Conte.

It has been a decade since Levy made a decent footballing decision at THFC.

Once the bulldozers knocked down WHL his purpose was clear.

These people have collectively fed off THFC and the most loyal legacy supporters for a quarter of a century.

They have shattered the footballing ambitions of the THFC supporters and the long term damage caused by, what now looks like certain relegation, will have the effect of reducing the expectation level further.

This of course serves ENIC's purpose as well.

As long as they stay Spurs supporters can expect more of the same and Daniel Levy will no doubt be short changed if he does decide to sell his shares back to these people.

They can keep us in the Championship too as a way of forcing the issue with Levy.

I really do fear that the majority of THFC supporters are no longer seeing the bigger picture here.

This is now a bun fight between two camps of greedy people.

In my opinion.

My mate who’s a Sunderland season ticket holder yesterday said we the first team he’s seen who look scared to make a tackle and we’re weak as piss. If thats not an indication the players have given up I don’t know what is

Doesn’t Lange work in the shadows or something.

There is no reason we can’t do what wolves did. They convinced top players and Nuno to come to them by basically saying that spending one season in the championship with them is still better than going to most other top flight clubs because they’ll be challenging for Europe immediately, and they did.

They essentially built a top 8 side in the championship.

I just don’t back ENIC to do that kind of project though.

Here to inject some optimism.

Chelsea falling off means Villa could have CL secured by the time they play us.
Our game is in the middle of the Europa League semi-final legs.

Unless I'm missing something, surely Emery will play the reserves vs us?

We could win there.
Even IF he does... Have you SEEN their reserves?

THAT'S the problem.... Everyone ELSE HAS reserves to play!!!

We don't!
