We can't control the result, but what we can control is effort and performance.

The players should have a lot more energy than the Villa lot.

No excuses for a slow start or stupid mistakes.

not absolutely
i say its absolutely critical we get more goals then them :)
If we don't score first I can't see us having it in us to come back and get anything out of it.

Likely event would be villa building on it.

Absolutely critical we score first.

That way we're well in the game and will have belief enough to tackle anything else that happens from there in the game.

Just don't think we're mentally there enough to not get knocked back considerable by going behind.

Villa this, villa that.

We need to focus on ourself.

At the wolves game I was looking at the approach we took and it clearly seemed that we wanted to be in the game. We weren't really trying to force the issue attacking wise and I think being away again the same will happen this game.

Stay in the game, midfield will be full of runners. Probably Bentancur, Biss, Gallagher and Bergvall.

Hope to keep the back door shut, because we know we struggle to score. Then try to get a set piece goal or high turnover, possibly string a move together for a clear cut chance.

It doesn't sound great and I hate it has come to this but that's probably how it will play out. Poor squad building, lack of foresight and contingency planning and a lack of trust in youth.

But it's still there for us and I do think the players will fight for it. I'll be there and the fans last week at wolves were right behind the team so let's see if we can string back to back clean sheets and wins and away wins together.
