Transfers Summer 2026 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

That’s my concern. You can have everything but if the legs are gone or going there isn’t much you can do.
If he does come I hope it's a pretty short deal. We might be able to get 2 decent enough seasons out of him, especially as a rotation option. But if we sign him for 4 years or something silly then we're nuts.

2 years plus an option would be ideal.

We are not going to build a world class and complete squad in 1 summer, that is foolish to think.

Robertson, senesi and vuskovic sorts our defence for zero outlay. It would be a more than good enough defence for a cl spot team along with raising funds through the sale of romero and vicario.

Then we use those funds adding to our budget to buy 3 top class quality players. A CM a LW are most important and the a CF although that is more difficult as there's not many available.

Selling players is equally as important. Loans ending and contracts running out already deals with 4 squad spots.

GK: Kinksy, +1
RB: Porro, Spence
LB: Robertson, Souza
RCB: Vuskovic, Danso
LCB: Van de Ven, Senesi
DM: Palhinha, +1
CM: Bentancur, Bergvall, Gallagher
AM: Maddison, Xavi
LW: Tel, Odobert, +1
RW: Kudus, Kulusevski?
ST: Solanke, +1

It doesn’t look much to get in, but they have to established players, no more prospects or depth signings.
I would sell another 7 from that list. Kulu, Solanke, Odobert, Tel, Bents, Spence, Porro. The level of rot at the club, is astonishing, and it will take a few years to heal.

My prediction for the summer and next season:

1. We wait through the World Cup while rumours circulate about who is coming in. We tell ourselves “It’s not the right time to be signing players”
2. We miss key targets who go to clubs that will pay more and have champions league football to offer.
3. We sign a player who has had an unexpectedly good World Cup for over inflated fees; it later turns out that he is hopeless.
4. We sign a couple of plodders from Ligue 2 that have Danny Rose reaching for Siri.
5. We sign a 33 year old ‘’legend’’ from another club who is past their prime and just looking for one last pay out.
6. The return of Dejan and Madders from injury are hailed as “‘virtually new signings”’.
6. We win a pre season tournament in the Far East; this makes us all excited about the coming season.
7. We win our first game at home. “Glory, Glory” rings out across the land.
8. The wheels fall off in September.
9. RDZ is blamed and sacked by Christmas.
10. You know the rest ….

PROVE ME WRONG ENIC, PROVE ME WRONG!
What. Defeatist, miserable way of looking at our predicament

I think this sort of talk is non-sensical. He has had an injury plagued season and he presses the life out of defences as well as chipping in. I’d be surprised if RDZ wasn’t really keen on him.
Realistically I just don't see a world where we move on all 3 of our strikers in one window. Especially in this striker market.

Solanke's limited but he's PL proven and De Zerbi apparently likes him. Think we'll keep him but I do hope we sign a first choice option ahead of him.

Left wing is the position we need to spend BIG.

Go for Nico Williams or Godts or Yildiz - just show ambition and spend the money in this position. We desperately need a capable winger. Way RDZ plays, his build up play gives 1v1 opportunities for his wingers. So, need someone who can take on the fullbacks and go for it.

I am sure Mikey Moore can be very good in this in the time he will be given. But we need to hit the market big in this position.

I agree but the market is capped.

Moore isn't really a winger anyway, I see him moving to a 10 on a full time basis in the future.

Yeah I get that. The saying is too much overhaul in one area can be detrimental is only my feeling. Plus now that we get the ball in the box, we might see a better Solanke. I mean De Zerbi made Wellbeck look a million times better than he is.
Of course, unrealistic to change 20+ players in one window, its just impossible.

I think under RDZ we will improve, but it is going to take time. People just need to learn to be patient... And just like a 20+ player overhaul, it aint going to happen.
