do we think there's any possibility of them tearing out the retractable pitch even if they found there was a problem?
There's no problem.

If the pitch was even slightly different under foot, footballers would know it. They would have raised the issue.

They've spent their lives playing on different pitches all over the world. They'd have noticed if it felt spongy or whatever.

Savinho is a big mistake. Stop buying other peoples rejects.

It annoys me how Bournemouth can continously get hold of good young players and we cant.

They had the chance to get Lookman in winter. Lord knows why they didnt. Daft.

Jesus christ.

Lionel Messi himself has probably forgotten about this incident.

Why you still remember it is ridiculous.

Not buying players like Robertson is part of the reason we’ve slid so far.

You can’t only buy u23 prospects every window, need some lads who’ve done it before.

Udogie and Spence will be a very solid duo on the left, don’t have to play Spence on that side and unbalance the the side.

Honestly, if 3k tonne plates are shifting over the weight of footballers, that is insanely dangerous and only a matter of time before they collapse. They're not designed to shift, that indicates the mechanics supporting the plates are defective.

So if it is the pitch, and it's flexing, we'll in Wembley again for a while.

Ex players are saying that the medical team isn't fit for purpose and doesn't have the budget that having hundreds of millions of £, talent warrants. They said it wasn't that they were incompetent, rather they were criminally under resourced. We had normal-ish injuries with the pitch for the first 3/4 years, now all of a sudden we're getting ridiculous injuries.

The surface is another question, if it's too soft, it can cause studs to get stuck. But injuries like ACL's aren't degenerative, barring a tiny, tiny % of cases, they are impact/momentary issues.

I think the inquest needs to go back to the start of Angie's first season, because since that November/December, that was the shift.
Didn't we sack the main medical guy at Ange's request around that time? Think those two fell out as Ange had a, let's say, more old school approach to player fitness and recovery.

Before the Angeheads come at me, it's pretty clear our injury issues run a lot deeper than just him - hence we've had loads more under Frank. But that initial change of medical staff under Munn's leadership, seems to have made things significantly worse rather than better.

Seriously??? So our defense leaking goals galore these last seasons is down to our attacking players???

Ice Cube What GIF
Obviously.

If our attacking players can keep hold of the ball in the final third instead of getting dispossessed over and over again leading to counter attack after counter attack for our defence to deal with we'll concede less.

So all our goals leaked is down to our forward line not being able to retain the ball?

It's a part of it. When you have the ball you have to retain possession at times so you dont give it away and expose your defense to repeated counter attacks. The more pressure they're under the more likely they are to give up goals.

A lot of goals being conceded are usually down to midfielders not tracking runners and helping the defense out as well as the attack losing the ball with a misplaced pass to begin with.

This is what I getting at. That timeline is the tipping point. I always felt like we suffered more injuries than ckubs around us, but the last two seasons have been off the charts. If it was the pitch, we would've had these issues from the get go. Something like a while new medical department, followed by a huge series of never ending injuries, is where the red flags are.
